Galveston Haunted Pub Crawl Walking Tour

Description
Step into the shadows of Galveston’s haunted past as you embark on a chilling and thrilling night of ghostly tales and spirited toasts. The Galveston Haunted Pub Crawl is not your average bar hop—this is a paranormal party through time, tragedy, and twisted tales that linger in the moonlit streets of one of Texas’ most haunted cities. Your journey begins with historic local watering holes, where the drinks are cold and the stories are chilling. Led by a seasoned storyteller with a taste for the macabre, you’ll weave through the island’s old saloons, seedy taverns, and atmospheric pubs—all with haunted histories and spectral sightings to match. Raise a glass where pirates once plotted and soldiers drank their last; sip slowly as you hear about tragic love stories, vengeful spirits, and restless souls that refuse to be forgotten. Whether you believe in ghosts or just enjoy a good story with your stout, this tour is perfect for anyone looking for a wickedly fun night out.

There wasn't many ghost stories, and the stories we got were from some AI posts on social media with videos we watched. The tour guide was very nice though.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear that your guide was nice, but we’re sorry the storytelling did not meet your expectations. Our tours are designed around researched local history, haunted legends, and ghost stories tied to the locations visited on the route. We take feedback like this seriously and will review the experience internally to make sure the tour is being delivered in line with our standards.
Ryan was so beyond knowledgeable. The walk was very enjoyable and got to see a lot of the city and got to see some local animals too!
This was a fantastic tour of some of the “haunted bars” in Galveston. Our guide was engaging, interesting and had an iPad where he went on deeper dives about the places we visited. He knew all the bar tenders and each had a special drink or shot we could purchase. It was extremely fun and we felt very safe with our guide. I highly recommend.
We had a good evening wandering around Galveston, however, there is more focus on the pub crawl element rather than the ghost tour. We didn’t get to go into any of the old buildings (aside from the pubs), but our guide showed us a lot of photos on his iPad. We got some good insight into the history of Galveston and found some good drinking establishments along the way.
Our tour guide was great. He kinda had a rough start with a different kind of guests. He kept it together. I enjoyed listening to the history of galveston. My husband and I will try more of the tours when we come back again!
This ended up being one of my favorite things my friends and I did on our Texas road trip. Ryan was an excellent tour guide, super knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the town’s history, which made everything way more interesting. He showed real historical pictures along the way which also really elevated the experience. His drink recommendations were spot on, and he created such a welcoming, fun atmosphere. By the end, our whole group was hanging out and chatting like we’d all known each other for a while. Such an awesome experience I would recommend to anyone visiting Galveston!
Ryan was super knowledgeable and told some great stories! He also has personal relationships with the proprietors so it was a lot of fun to feel welcomed by locals. I would highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a fun, unique way to experience Galveston at night, the Haunted Pub Tour is an absolute must. This tour perfectly blends local history, spooky storytelling, and laid-back bar hopping. Our guide was fantastic—super knowledgeable, engaging, and just the right amount of theatrical to keep things entertaining without feeling over the top. Each stop had its own eerie backstory, and it was fascinating to learn about the island’s haunted past while actually standing in some of the locations where these stories originated. The pace was great, giving us enough time to enjoy drinks, explore each spot, and soak in the atmosphere without feeling rushed. The pubs themselves were full of character, and it made the experience feel even more authentic. Whether you’re into ghost stories or just want a different kind of night out, this tour is a perfect mix of fun and chills. I’d definitely do it again next time I’m in Galveston!
Ryan was an awesome tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and personable. My sister and I greatly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it. We had so much fun with the group of people on our tour! Be aware that there is a great deal of walking involved so beware of footwear you choose for the tour...
The guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history. The drink suggestions were spot on, very good! This is a must if you’re visiting the Strand in Galveston.
