- **MINIMUM AGE IS 5 YEARS OLD**Minimum age is 5 years old and must be in a booster seat unless they are at least 4 feet 9 inches tall. Our tours are immersive, narrated experiences that require guests to remain seated and respectful of the shared environment. Children must be comfortable sitting for the duration of the tour and able to follow parent guidance.
- Please meet the Shaka Shuttle at Whalers Village shopping mall 15 minutes before the start of your tour in front of the valet/pick-up roundabout on the street side of the shopping mall where the bus pickups are. This is located behind the Tommy Bahama store in the mall.
- The pick up address is 2435 Kaanapali Pkwy, Lahaina, HI 96761
- If you are driving to our pick-up location, please give yourself extra time to park and get to the pick-up location. There is parking available for a fee at the Whalers Village shopping mall parking structure.
- **Drinks:** - You can bring drinks but they must be in spill proof container. There is a ABC store located right by the pick up spot and has a large variety of drinks.
- **Sunglasses** - Please bring sunglasses. The ride will be more enjoyable with sunglasses as it get windy at times.
- **Sweater or Jacket** - Sometimes it gets chilly depending on the day, especially in the open air at higher speeds. Even though we are in the tropics, some people get chilly, so bringing a sweatshirt or jacket may make the ride more comfortable.

The shuttle was clean, comfortable, and on time, and our guide was pleasant. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing because of how the scheduling was handled. Three days before our tour, we were notified that our reserved time slot was being canceled because there weren’t enough travelers. We had to rearrange our plans to take an earlier tour, and we weren’t given the option to wait and see if additional bookings would fill the original departure. What made this especially frustrating was that when we returned from our tour, we saw the original departure leaving as scheduled. Had we been given the choice, we would have preferred to keep our original reservation instead of changing our plans. The transportation itself was good, but the communication and handling of the schedule left us disappointed. The price of the tour was more than the value in our experience.
Thank you for your feedback and for recognizing that our shuttle was clean, comfortable, on time, and that your guide provided a pleasant experience. We’re truly sorry for the frustration surrounding the scheduling. Because we operate small-group tours, each departure requires a minimum number of guests. Three days before your tour, bookings for your original departure were still below that minimum, so we reached out proactively rather than risk canceling your tour at the last minute. We know many guests carefully plan their vacation days, and our goal is to give as much advance notice as possible whenever a departure appears unlikely to operate. In your case, several last-minute reservations came in after you had already been moved, allowing the original departure to run after all. We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to see that tour leave as scheduled, and we can appreciate why that felt frustrating. We’ll take your feedback to heart as we continue refining our scheduling process to better balance providing advance notice with allowing additional time for late bookings. We sincerely appreciate you choosing Shaka Tours Maui and hope you’ll give us another opportunity to provide the experience we strive to deliver.
Such a fun and relaxing ride with Gaen. He stopped several times to explain the scenery and give us some of the backstory. Vehicle was comfortable and the breeze was very refreshing. Thanks for the great music Gaen, I totally forgot to ask you for your playlist!! LOL

This tour was as described. Our driver-guide, Gaen, was great! Lots of explanations and history given on this journey. Very receptive to answering our questions and lending a hand with picture-taking! I thought I saw a turtle swimming but not sure, and unfortunately for us, the Nakalele Blowhole wasn’t spewing water into the air! Wonderful trip nonetheless. Lots of pictures and videos as reminders. You won’t go wrong if you book this!!

This tour was super awesome! It's laid back, super chill, the guide gave some great stories and history about the island. I went with my family of 5 ... all the kids really enjoyed it. Highly recommend if you are ever in the Ka'anapali area. Super fun!
