Itinerary
Our meeting place as well as the site of the first haunting.
Our second haunting as well as a lovely park and the location of the handy bus stop if travelling by bus.
One of the many haunted pubs on the tour, with a most disgusting secret to divulge.
Today a live music venue, but for us on the tour, a handy double haunting on the site of an immensely historic building.
One of our favourite locations of the tour. Crammed with history and hauntings, this is one hell of a location.
Sitting on the site of an early medieval church cellar, this haunted pub has a very long history of ghost sightings dating back centuries.
The origin of the city, this very old bridge which gave the city it's name is also the site of a bloody riot, echoes of which are still heard and felt today.
Possibly the very best street in the city, crammed with historic pubs and a wonderful theatre. Once the haunt of pirates, actors and criminals of all descriptions, this wonderful street is very alive with today with marvellous drinking houses and tales of the dead are everywhere.
A beautiful Georgian Square in the heart of the old docks, are final location of the tour is also very much alive with the hauntings of one of the most bloody events that ever took place on English soil.

Incredible did 8pm tour superb loved the tour xx
We had a superb and convincingly spooky ghost tour of Bath. Our guide was very good and the theatrics and props greatly enhanced the experience. A fun way to see Bath and ponder on Britain's gruesone history. Highly recommended!
Informative and great fun. Our host, Jim, gave a great performance. The tour was easy to navigate with only one flight of stairs.
Great fun with an exceptional guide who kept us entertained throughout. He also dealt very professionally with some louts and drunks who tried to disrupt the tour, which isn’t easy to do. Highly recommended 👍
I wish I could remember the name of the lady who was our guide, because she was superb! So knowledgeable and highly entertaining. We had a wonderful night and the tour was great value. Over two hours of fascinating tales, which also incorporated group participation. Thoroughly recommend!
Professor Pickwit was both animated and funny. Her knowledge of the events and her delivery of the content was informative and done in a very entertaining way. It’s a great way to get to know Bath
A really fun , interactive and interesting ghost tour with ‘Jimmy’ - although I’m familiar with Bristol I found out lots of interesting historic facts that I didn’t know ! Great fun and would recommend …. Sadly didn’t see any ghosts !!!!!!!
We met outside Bristol Cathedral on College Green on a sunny evening, which honestly felt staged but wasn’t, and our guide turned up in full costume looking like he’d stepped straight out of the 1700s. From the second he opened his mouth, he had the whole group hooked. Funny, a little bit theatrical, and clearly knew his Bristol history inside out — this wasn’t just spooky stories for the sake of it, there was proper substance behind every stop. And there are STOPS. Up to 17 haunted locations winding through the old medieval heart of the city. I’ve lived nearby for years and I was genuinely learning things I’d never known — Bristol has a dark past, let me tell you. We’re talking murders, executions, a door apparently covered in human skin (yes, really, Google it when you get home if you dare), and enough gruesome history to make you see the whole city differently on the walk home. The group was capped at around 12 people so it never felt like a cattle herd shuffling through town. It felt personal. At one point our guide got a couple of people in the group involved in a bit of storytelling and everyone was laughing — not what you expect from a ghost tour but honestly fun. The whole thing runs about 1 hour 45 minutes and finishes at Queen Square. My feet were fine, the pace was relaxed enough for everyone to keep up, and by the end I genuinely didn’t want it to stop. A few tips: go on a weeknight if you can, as Bristol’s Friday night crowds do kill the vibe a bit. Wear sensible shoes — it’s cobbles and uneven ground in places. And maybe don’t go alone if you’re easily spooked, because some of the stories genuinely got under my skin walking home afterwards. Brilliant value, brilliant fun, and I now have about a million weird Bristol facts to ambush people with at dinner parties. Couldn’t recommend it more. 👻
A wonderfully informative and spooky tour around the fair city of Bath! The rat catcher skilfully transported us back 100’s of years to revisit the horrors of Bath gone by! A truly excellent experience
We met with Tobias Carver on a warm evening in May. He was great at greeting the whole group and was engaging from start to finish. We stopped at lots of locations around the city full of tales of hauntings and sightings of ghostly going ons! We had several younger people in the group who were encouraged to join in and loved the stories. Highly recommended for a memorable experience in Bristol!
