Selvatura Park offers an immersive experience in the Monteverde Cloud Forest with a range of activities. Adventure seekers can enjoy one of Costa Rica's longest canopy tours, featuring 13 cables, 18 platforms, and a Tarzan Swing. For a more tranquil experience, visitors can walk along eight hanging bridges with stunning views of the forest. The park also features a live butterfly exhibit with over 20 species, a Sloth Habitat that mimics their natural environment, and a Reptile and Amphibian Tour showcasing iconic species like red-eyed tree frogs, glass frogs, and boa constrictors. This experience provides a unique glimpse into the rich biodiversity of Monteverde.

Our family of 4 had a blast on the zip lines . What incredible views ! There is a bit of uphill walking so this is not an activity for those with mobility impairment. There is also an optional “Tarzan swing “ at the very end where you jump off a 3 story platform - totally optional . The crew was helpful , albeit a bit disorganized . When they gave the intro / orientation to our group, another group walked in on us and disturbed us about half way through. When it was time for action , everyone went ahead, even those who were not part of the first group and weren’t there for the beginning of the orientation - the crew had no idea who was who and didn’t keep track of how many ppl were in the party .
Tours are amazing. The hanging bridges walk is long, so be prepared and go to the restrooms right before departing. We got to see a howler monkey on one of the bridges, lots of beautiful birds, and some really awesome insects. We ate at the restaurant and our server, Maga, was fantastic. Spoke English perfectly and made great recommendations. Her carrot cake was amazing. The guided parts of the park was also well worth the cost. So much to learn and the guides are extremely helpful. Temp was a bit cool, so please dress for the day, long sleeves and a light rain jacket recommended.
Beautiful area! Stopped for lunch at El Jardin. Maga makes delicious carrot cake!
Fantastic, professional . Genna amd his team Alejandro, Davide, Javiet and others were so helpful and pleasant . I was nervous at the start but their professionalism made the different and I really enjoyed the adventure.
Zip lining was amazing! The restaurant was delicious and the animal tours were very informative!

The ziplining experience here was absolutely a blast. The guides made you feel safe and successful. There was a good deal of walking in between zip-lining, so be aware of that when booking. The sloth habitat was amazing and well worth a visit.

We had an amazing experience with both the Selvatura zipline tour and the hanging bridges. The zipline personnel were professional, courteous, and always charming, making sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and had a great time. For an extra adrenaline rush, I highly recommend the Tarzan swing, it was an awesome addition to the adventure! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and the entire experience was one I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for adventure in a stunning natural setting. Before heading to the hanging bridges, we stopped at the restaurant for lunch. We enjoyed the fish fingers and finished with a homemade brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. The brownie had an incredibly rich chocolate flavor, absolutely delicious! A special thank you to Magali, who made the brownie and was so personable and sweet, and to Keylin, who took our order and provided exceptional service. Their warmth and friendliness made our lunch even more memorable. The final part of our adventure was the hanging bridges. Walking through the canopy allowed us to appreciate the flora, flowers, and surrounding landscape from a completely different perspective. It was a peaceful and beautiful way to end the day. Overall, the zipline and hanging bridges were a fantastic experience. Great adventure, excellent service, delicious food, and breathtaking scenery. I highly recommend it!
