Full Day Wilpaththu National Park Safari (All Inclusive)

Description
Today you will enjoy an adventurous full-day safari at Wilpaththu National Park including breakfast and lunch at the Park. This is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. This National Park is well worth as a standalone attraction as it records the second-highest leopard density in Sri Lanka, after Yala. It also admits a fewer number of visitors, which sets it in stark contrast to Yala National Park, which tends to get overcrowded. These reasons alone make This National Park a perfect alternative for proper safari-goers who prefer to see magnificent wild animals in their natural habitat while avoiding annoying crowds.

We went there by 12.30 pm by a three wheeler paying Rs 2000 both ways for thr 7km one way as our car cannot go through the muddy potholed 3 km stretch from the Raalmadu hotel. Wildlife officer accompanied our vehicle n we saw many deer's, peacocks, many types of birds, roosters, etc n a leopard at a distance. A small fox was attacked n engulfed by a python. The small fox looking at our vehicle while moving when the disaster happened. We came back to the starting point by 5.30 pm. I had a bad experience of loosing my purse inside the park but a driver coming after us after sometime found it n gave it to the next day. Although Namal, the vehicle driver in the park was offered money, he did not accept it and said that we are human. I express my thanks n gratitude to the driver, Namal as he is a real gentleman having excellent humal qualities.
