My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip in Old Town Vilnius and Trakai. Urata is very knowledgeable and personable. She was truly a wealth of information on Lithuania history, food and culture. What a difference a good guide makes! Strongly recommended.
Guide spent time answering our questions and baring that our trip objectives were meet. He tried to customize the private tour to our needs
From Vilnius via organizer Vilnius City Tour to Trakai Castle on an excursion with a medium bus filled with about 15 people from various countries. One of the most important and famous sights of the country so the expectation pattern was quite high. And fortunately not disappointed because it was totally worth it. There is a lot of interesting material on display outside and inside including very unexpected / bizarre but certainly very interesting army stuff related to the Ukraine - Russia war. Afterwards we had a nice lunch in the adjacent restaurant. Highly recommended this tour!
A trip that started well turned into a trip from Hell. Driver got desperate because of the traffic and wanted to cancell the trip after 2 hrs. The options were the same. Cancel and ggo back. Refund?. NOOOOO, such thing. After 20 min insane statements that made Logic 101 class look like Nuclear Physics traffic eased and we were delivered to the castle. On top of his inexusable behavior he insisted on joining us for lunch. How rude and low class can this person be? I believe the driver's/ guide name was Andreas. I can go on and on, but what's the point. Shame on Viator for hiring such duds. Needless to say .....NEVER AGAIN. for the money we spent we deserved better. MUCH BETTER. Shame....
Adam, our guide, was amazing. His command of English was excellent and he took care to tailor the tour to our desires. We were able to converse with him on a wide variety of topics regarding Lithuania and he took care to introduce us to Lithuanian food and drink. We spent over a week in the Baltic states and this tour was absolutely one of the highlights.
The Vilnius city tour was very good, our driver was very knowledgeable about the history of the city. He took us to all the relevant locations, one spot that I would recommend that he didn’t take us would be the old town of the city, which would have been nice to walk through with a tour guide.. I would recommend keeping the tour to the castle and remove the hill of Angels and add time for the old town.
Had a great tour with Adam, who was knowledgeable, friendly and whose English was very clear and easy to understand. Great communication with instructions on where to meet. Our thanks for not cancelling the tour when we were the only participants, which would have been disappointing.
The tour guide, Adam, was fantastic--very informative and thoughtful, and a great personality. I would sign up again for any tour that he is in charge of. It was perfect.
Delightful tour guide and wonderful sites made for a nice day of site seeing. Lunch at a traditional Lithuanian restaurant made it more special. Well worth the price!
This was a great introductory tour of Vilnius for our family. Viator was on top of communicating instructions for our tour via texts and emails. Adam was our private tour guide for the day and picked us up at our hotel in a very nice, new SUV. He was very knowledgeable of Lithuania and its history. We enjoyed learning all about Vilnius and Lithuanian culture. He took us to a restaurant near Trakai Castle that served traditional Lithuanian cuisine and helped us with ordering. The highlight of our trip to Lithuania was meeting Adam and learning so much from him. He is very personable, and we had great conversations with him.
