I have travelled to visit this wonderful island several times. I have been rooted in it since the moment when in 1977, I fulfilled the mandatory military service as an aspirant officer.
Our guide for the day Paolo met us at our hotel right at 930am. We drove all over the island. East. West. North and middle of the island. We had many stops: coffee plantation. Cheese factory. Wine and ice cream and had lunch , The Alcatra, the main local dish at a fantastic restaurant. The tour was comprehensive with island history. Amazing view points and much more. We returned around 630pm and a full day. Highly recommend!!!

The full day van tour with food was excellent! Paolo, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the island and kept us entertained throughout the entire day. The different food stops were well chosen. We loved every one of them. Lunch was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this tour.

The 1 day tour of Terceira Island is charming! There are several viewpoints along the island where we have amazing views. The region of pastures , its cows , the cheese houses and the cuisine are a delight .The Terceira Island is truly an ecological paradise.

A decent tour of the island that did include some food, but it was not the food-focused tour I imagined and that I have been on in other places. about half the stops included some kind of taste. maybe 5 of 10 stops. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, not overly friendly, but did tailor the tour a bit to the fact that everyone on the tour had been on other tours of the island. I think if our expectations were different the rating would have been higher.

My husband & I just came back from a week vacation!We booked this tour, it was well worth it! It was a nice kind of private tour, only two of us and two other ladies!Our guide Darcio,he was so good of the history of Azores!We learned so much of the cultural & history of the inland!And the lunch and all the stops he brought us to were amazing! Wine & cheese tasting with a gelato yummy ice cream at the end! Highly recommend this tour and ( Darcio) for your guide! He also took some great photos for us!
