Itinerary
We will pick you up from anywhere in Aqaba and drive you to Petra with a short stop on the way. It takes about two to two and a half hours to reach the Petra Visitor Center, where we begin our walking journey to the eighth wonder of the world. After walking 800 meters we reach the Siq (a rock channel 1,200 meters long, 3 to 12 meters wide, and 80 meters high). The Siq opens into Petra's most magnificent façade - the Treasury or Al-Khazneh. After the treasury, the path widens into a wide avenue of facades flanked on either side by the tombs that characterize the entire site. The Avenue of Facades leads us to the 5,000-seat theatre, carved into the middle of the main tomb area: On the other side of the stage on the western side of Mount Khakhbatha, we reach our final point – the Royal Tombs. After the Fofi tour, we return to Aqaba, which takes two to two and a half hours

This is just a taxi to and from the site. I appreciate the ad doesn't clearly state that it is anything but. However, it should clearly state that this is a pickup and drop-off only. There is no guide involvement, the tickets aren't include (the add does not say they are but prepare for the 50 JOD cost per ticket). The company did not confirm the day prior, I had to chase both Viator and the taxi. They showed up 30 minutes late then didn't realise that I was going to Petra so had to swap drivers. If going, read the description as nothing other than the trip to the site is included.
Great transfer service from Aqaba to Petra and back. Pick-up service from hotel at a time of your choosing. The driver Odai was professional and spoke good English. Safe drive in clean and comfortable car. For a small extra fee, Odai was kind enough to wait an additional 1.5h (4.5h total) for me to explore Petra. Highly recommend this trip.
There were extra charges imposed on us. Please be aware the price charged for round trip service will incur other fees related to transportation. He charged us an additional 48 JOD.
