I was picked up from beachside hotel by my driver/guide Long. His English was good as was his driving. As per itinerary, we visited the Linh Phuoc Pagoda which is amazing. An early lunch consisting of beef pho at Bun Bo Hue which was delicious. Some more touring and fun at the alpine coaster. Second lunch was a Vietnamese pizza at Bánh Tráng nướng Dì Đinh. Yum! A good day was had with Long happily modifying the tour to suit my interests.

We had a fantastic time on a 1-day private tour of Dalat with our guide, Long. We visited the Datanla waterfall and went on the super fun toboggan ride. We also visited the Linh Phuoc temple, Truc Lam monastery (which was wonderfully zen!), Tuyen Lam lake, and Dalat historic railway. Absolutely loved Dalat. Long was a fantastic guide, being very attentive, patient and informative. Long is also a super safe driver, especially up the mountain roads!! Would highly recommend the Dalat 1-day tour and our great tour guide, Long.

Yes book this tour if you only have one day to see Dalat. Excellent Driver, very respectful & concerned about your wellbeing the entire day. The driver was always waiting & watching out for us at the tour stops. He took us to a few spots he knew for the best photos, food & coffee too. Although this tour includes alot of stops with options to pay for extra amenities it is a fast day. Choose one (maybe 2) extra paid adventure & let the driver know at the beginning of the trip. We just did the cable car. There would not be enough time to do everything like the train ride, roller coaster, zipline, waterfall repelling, etc. Pick your favorites & discuss this the driver on the way there to arrange the proper amount of time if you want extra activities.
Dear Mr/Mrs! Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We are delighted to hear that you had an excellent experience with our driver. It’s great to know you appreciated his attentiveness, from ensuring your well-being to finding those perfect spots for photos and coffee. I will certainly pass on your kind words to him—he will be very proud! We also truly appreciate your practical advice for future travelers regarding the itinerary. Choosing 1-2 favorite extra activities like the cable car is indeed the best way to enjoy a fulfilling day in Dalat without feeling rushed. Thank you for recommending us to the TripAdvisor community. We hope to welcome you back for more adventures! Best regards, Vietnam Backpacker Travel Team!
We had a private tour with Long driving us from Nha Trang to Da Lat. Long even stopped at my request so I could take photos of the river. He found a suspension bridge where I could take photos of the bridge and the river. He was knowledgeable and made sure that we had great family photos at each stop.
We had an amazing day trip to Dalat from Nha Trang. Our driver/ guide Lom was very informative, insightful, knowledgeable and very helpful. His driving skills on the uneven foggy roads was excellent- I felt we were in very competent hands. Lom made this trip one of the highlights of our Vietnamese adventures. We would highly recommend him and this trip. The only regret we had was not spending 2 days in Dalat.
We had fine trip to Dakar with Mr.Long. He is really excellent guide, who loves his land and ready to share with tourists. Also he’s good driver - we saw that during riding in mountains fog.. Strongly recommend! Thanks a lot!!
