Take a break from hectic pace of modern life and immerse yourself in Western Serbia Nature! The tour starts at 8 a.m. from your accommodation in Belgrade.
First stop will be "The Gate of Podrinje" which represents the entrance to the magical Drina River Valley. You will have opportunity to make some memorable pictures from this viewpoint.
Bajina Basta, small town located on the foothill of Tara Mountain with its unique attraction "House on the rock in the middle of the Drina River" is our second stop. The image of this unusual attraction was posted on a cover of National Geographic magazine.
The tour proceeds to the heart of Tara National Park.
First viewpoint is Zelenika, with a view over Bajina Basta and Perucac Lake.
Short, pleasant drive will take us to the point from which we will start our walking part of the tour in order to reach, without doubt, the most beautiful viewpoint in Serbia "Banjska Rock." This place offers splendid panoramic view over the Drina River Canyon. Be prepared to take some breathtaking photos from up here.
Lunch break in a traditional restaurant. Drive back to Belgrade (3h). Drop off to your accommodation in Belgrade.

Pickup Locations & Times
Pick up is organized from 7:30 a.m. to 08:00 a.m. Pick up is offered from centrally located Belgrade hotels, apartments, hostels, etc. ( up to 5 km from Republic Square). The guide will wait no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled pick up time. If your accommodation is located in main pedestrian zone you may be asked to meet the guide at the pick up location located a maximum of 5 minutes walk from your accommodation. Pick up details you will receive the day before departure via email or Whats App not before 5 p.m.

- Please bring your passport or ID card
- Please provide the name and address of your accommodation in Belgrade and your contact telephone number, so that the local partner can send you all the necessary information for the upcoming trip (name and contact of your tourist guide, exact pick up time from your address in Belgrade, etc.).
- Shared group tour requires a minimum of 4 people to run. If the minimum number of travelers isn't met, you will be offered a choice between choosing other date or cancelling the tour with no fees applied or booking a private tour.
- Banjska Rock viewpoint requires good weather conditions due to its attitude. In case of the bad weather a visit to the viewpoint will be substituted with Sargan 8 Train - Mokra Gora.
- Transportation in air-conditioned car (1-3 pax) or minivan (4-7 pax)

I had the best tour of Western Serbia, big thanks to Jelena (our tour guide) and Ljubisa (our driver) who made the tour a lot more fun and memorable. Very friendly and very organized, and I felt like we got more from what we expected! Jelena is very knowledgeable about the tour, the Serbian culture, and the history. She made the day a lot more personable and took her time to get to know everyone in the van. She was also very energetic, which created positive vibes among everyone. It helped a lot that she also took really great photos! If ! ever visit Serbia again, I would definitely book this tour company (Serbia Inspired Tours) again!

Thanks to my wonderful guide Jelena and safe driving driver Zile, everything went smoothly and I had a really great day. All the photos I took in good weather were amazing. I don't usually participate in tours, but I was able to see once again the merits of the tour, which is that I can efficiently go around the highlights by leaving it to others. We had an amazing time thanks to our tour guide Jelena and our driver Ljubisa. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of all the places that we visited and even gave us some info of Belgrade whilst going back to our hotel. We had a great time would recommend as a day trip.

What a fantastic day! Jalena was such a fun, knowledgable and organised guide for this trip. The natural landscape in Tara national park should not be missed if visiting Belgrade for a few days. This was the highlight of my trip to Serbia. Many thanks to Milan for being a really calm, safe driver. The day was filled with plenty of stops for pictures and a chance to admire the mountains, lots of bathrooms breaks and most importantly sampling local Serbian Rakia. Jelena was fantastic. Knowledgeable, sensitive to our needs and friendly and cheerful. She was so helpful for me!!! I couldn’t use my phone for local calls and she arranged for a taxi for me for 330am and sent me the info for it at 3am. She was a jewel!
