Good Guides, Good Hike

A really good experience overall, our guides, Fin and Jun were really accommodating during the hike by being patient, giving support, accommodating our lunch to our dietary needs and even also lending my friends their personal raincoats to save my friends’ cameras from the heavy rain. They also gave a lot of insight into Vietnamese culture by teaching us local phrases and also showing and explaining to us different mushrooms and plant types. A must-go when in Da Lat! The hike itself was fun as the trail goes from steep to a flat slope before going steep again. The view is worth every sweat and I recommend this hike to anyone interested in trying out hiking.

3Peaks of Lang Biang Great with a Guide!

Great hike and phenomenal views! The elevation is no joke, but entirely doable for folks in moderately good condition and enjoy a challenging hike. Our guide, Phat was excellent, explaining the local traditions and stories about Lang Biang mt, culture of the indigenous peoples, flora and fauna. His English was very good. He was attentive to the needs of the group(only 3 of us), provided hiking poles and water, and made us quite a delicious spread for lunch ( which had plenty of vegetarian options). Yes, you can do the hike without a guide, but you’ll miss out on a lot. So very glad to have gone on this tour rather than trying to do it alone. Phat really made it so much more fun! Worth every penny and then some. BTW, wear good hiking shoes!
