Wonderful full day tour where you get to accomplish a lot, which was our goal! Mia was such a great tour guide, and we learnt so much. We were super lucky to spend all this time with her. The day was full of sightseeing, wine tasting, and great stories. Definitely recommend it if you are in Bordeaux for the first time and want to get familiar with different regions and get a feel for the area.
Educational and enjoyable experience. The three wineries had knowledgeable staff and our guide, Sylvie, was friendly, professional, and conducted a nice short tour of the town of Saint-Emilion. Lunch is included - it’s fine and enough is provided and they accommodated diet restrictions. It’s a very long day on many rough roads - for those in the third row it was uncomfortable. I highly recommend Dramamine if there is any potential of car sickness. Overall a high quality experience!
Mia was a delightful, informative guide, herself a sommelier, so she was able to impart a lot of interesting information whilst safely driving us around this picture postcard part of Bordeaux's wine regions for the day. First stop Saint-Émilion village was so charming, followed by three wineries, all very different, with multiple wine tastings either side of the tasty lunch provided, with more wine! A comfortable, relaxed small group tour which I would highly recommend, particularly with Mia as your guide. Merci beaucoup Mia!
Hello, Mia will be delighted to read this comment; her passion is with each of our clients for all the tours. We are delighted that you enjoyed this tour in his company. Thank you for this review.
Entirely too hot to be cramming 8 people into a tiny bus with very little AC. There should have been a limit of 4-5 people on a bus that small, and water should have been on hand. You’re lucky there wasn’t a medical problem. This tour was irresponsible.
Hello. We are sorry that the heat was too much for you in the van, however each of these recent Mercedes vans is equipped with a working air conditioning system. We still hope that the day spent with us lived up to your expectations.
Completely shocked given all the positive reviews. Stay away. Sold a bill of goods that was false. I never write reviews but this was enough for me to leave one. When I tried to take it up directly with the company, their responses only came back to me after much prompting and it was clear they really couldn't be bothered to address the issues. The rest of the tour group (we didn't know each other prior to this tour) were very upset- one person actually asked the tour guide to quickly stop at a store in the town we were passing through so they can get a pastry quickly as the "lunch" was abysmal, the guide said no so he was left hungry even though we were in no rush! I'm most upset that I'll never get that day of my vacation back, the money was significant but lower on my concern list. The vineyards they chose for the tour had us sharing tastings with random strangers that came in on bikes without appointments along at one vineyard and another had GIANT tour bus as well. Basically, save your money and go yourself at a literally fraction of the cost or find a better operator.
Hello. First of all, regarding the meal we provided, it consists of a starter, a main course, and a dessert with several choices for each dish, all accompanied by bread. The quantities have been designed to suit a balanced and consistent meal for a day like the one we offer. As for the request for a stop at the pastry shop, it should be understood that we have a very strict schedule regarding the vineyards but also the trips by van. As for the visit, we are committed to offering tours to a maximum of eight people, whether for visits or tastings. However, we cannot in any way control the number of visitors to these vineyards. We are sorry that this day with us did not meet your expectations.
Beautiful tour. Good selection of the visited chateaus. We particularly enjoyed Château Haut Rocher. Very personal service and wine tasting.
Vielen Dank für diesen Kommentar, in der Hoffnung, dass die Zeit, die Sie mit uns verbracht haben, Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Nochmals vielen Dank.
This was by far the best wine tour I've been on and Xavier was an engaging and incredibly knowledgable guide! The wines and scenery were exceptional and we learned a great deal during the drive and at the wineries. The group was small and the visits well paced. I feel like we were able to see and do a lot in this one day tour and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get a nice taste of Bordeaux wineries!
Hi, we are happy to see this review, thank you so much for Xavier. We always make sure that you have the maximum experience with us and you can have the best time possible ! Thanks again !
We had a fabulous experience! Valentin was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Everything was so easy and well organized, and it was a fabulous way to learn about both the history and the wines of the region.
We are very happy to see this and to see that you have enjoyed our region as much as we did! Valentin is here to give you all the knowledge he has so that you can live the experience of your life! Have a great day!
The tour was well organized and we had a good time. We went on a Monday and some shops in Saint-Émilion were closed, but we did not have time to see everything anyways so that did not affect our visit. Mostly red wines for the tastings and they were all great. You have the opportunity to buy the wines afterwards. Our tour guide Hugo was super funny, friendly and had the best moustache. I would recommend this tour to others.
Thank you for this review, we ensure that our tours are organized in the most pleasant manner for you and for enhancing the experience. Hugo will be delighted to hear that his mustache and his humor have made a mark on people’s minds ! Thanks again !
Beautiful day to St. Emilion where we had a short visit to the village but time for coffee and a croissant. Then on to the wineries with a wine tasting followed by gourmet picnic lunch. More wineries and wine tastings. Back to Bordeaux about 5:45 pm; it was a lovely outing.
Hello, thank you for this great review, it is essential to us that despite the time we have during the day, that you have free time in Saint-Émilion. Delighted that you were won over by the visit, lunch, and tasting. Thank you so much !
