Entering Umm Qais from the south, the first structure of interest is the well-restored and brooding West Theatre. Constructed from black basalt, it once seated about 3000 people. This is a place to sing or declaim a soliloquy – the acoustics are fantastic. 2 hours spend the most beautiful view on Tabaria lake also

Great experience with Hassan. Free wifi and water provided and gave opportunities to stop and use the restroom/stretch along the way. He drove us safely to Umm Qais, Jerash, & Aj Loun.
