Ind the beginning of our tour we stop on place with OBSERVATION TOWER in Mala Trna, Slovakia. We climb to the top of the observation tower and have an introduction to the Tokaj wine region. It's a great spot to take selfies or take images for your social media Observation tower is the landmark of the Tokaj wine region It is a 12 meter high Observation tower in the vineyards, between Malá Tŕňa and Černochov. It is a place of relaxation where you will experience views of the Tokaj wine region, the vineyards and to the wide surrounding. Its shape is original, because it takes the form of a barrel.
Join us in the heart of Tokaj for an unforgettable wine tasting journey. Nestled in one of the world’s most renowned wine regions, our tasting tour offers you the chance to savor the rich flavors and history of Tokaj wines. What’s Included: 1.A guided tour in winery, visiting wine cellar and guided wine tasting 2. For the lunch break we stop at unique: Mansion & Hotel & Restaurant: F. Rakoczi II. Borša, Slovakia. Restaurant with a touch of history - "Reštaurácia u kňažnej" in Borša, Slovakia. The name translates to 'Restaurant at the Princess,' hinting at a potentially historical setting. Here we will have the opportunity to taste dishes from the local cuisine and other local specialties

- It takes approximately 1,5 hour to drive from Kosice to Tokaj winer region, and also 1,5 hour to drive back from Tokaj wine region to Kosice.

- Minimun age required to take alcohol in Slovakia & Hungary is 18 years old
- Cost of lunch is not included in the price. In case we stop for meal, the cost of lunch for guide is paid by the client

This was an amazing day. Marek was knowledgeable about the history of Tokaj region combined with excellent wine tasting on both the Hungarian and Slovakian sides of the region, plus excellent places for food! (Always a win) and as a solo traveller some winery’s are less accomodating for 1 person to taste wine- he was able to coordinate with excellent places to taste a variety of wines - would 100% recommend

Had a wonderful time exploring the Tokaj wine valley with Marek. He was warm, friendly, funny and knowledgeable and made me feel like I was travelling with a friend. I was taken to Mala Trna by the Hungarian border and introduced to Mateus, an irrepressible character who makes some stunning wines. After several tastings and a visit to his family’s cellar, we popped over the border to Hungary for a delicious fish soup lunch. Would totally recommend.
Had a wonderful day exploring Tokaj with Marek. He linked us up with Mateus, a complete character and wonderful wine producer who welcomed into his home (and cellar) to test countless delicious wines from the entire spectrum on offer. Nothing was too much trouble for Marek. He gave us many options - including having lunch in Hungary. He was kind, patient and funny - especially when one member of the party had too much to drink and needed a sleep! Looking forward to the next time! Thank you Marek!

Our guide Marek was amazing & provided heaps of information. It was wonderful to go to s small, family owned winery, where we tasted 11 wines which were explained thoroughly by the vineyard owner. Although the tour was a little expensive it was, overall, a very enjoyable day out.
