Wonderful views of Sintra mountains and Cascais marina. Wonderful tour guide who was very informative and fun driving in 4x4 trucks.
We paid in full via the company's website, but after starting the trip, the driver started asking for more money. I don't know if that's only him or his company trying to scam people, but that was a very poor experience. He threatened to go get his manager, we told him to do so, and he finally relented and everything was "good".
Your Tour has extra costs in the descriptions , the driver was only doing is job , like he always does , receives the money of the extra costs. I advise you in the future to read everything in the descriptions , because its well explained and in big letters ,thank you.
I have never left a negative review before but I felt I had no other choice. Initially the tour operator asked us to change days which we had absolutely no issue with changing. We received two confirmation emails stating pick up at our hotel. We arrived in lobby 20 minutes before the stated 9am pick up time. I emailed the tour operator at 9.10 to check everything was ok – no response. I emailed again at 9.20- no response. I called tour operator at 9.27 and this just got worse! They claimed to know nothing about the booking and asked me to call another number. Next person claimed to have sent me a text changing the pick up time and place! Then said it was emailed then said they didn’t do hotel pick ups! Shambles. I requested refund twice told on phone would receive refund after they could not say who would pay for taxi to meet tour. An hour later got an email saying no refund. The service is poor. Any changes to the schedule should require confirmation from the client that they have received and read the changes. An official complaint has been lodged. Disappointed and angry. Dr Madonna Livingstone BVMS MRCVS
Good Morning. Thank you for your comment, which we read carefully. We're sorry, but we advised you that the pick-up location and hour 3 days in advance via TripAdvisor's conversion chat, where we arranged the tour and always talk. When we got to the local pickup at time, we waited and you didn't show up. Thank you.
We had a very nice day where the safari part made the most impression. Beautiful scenery. All mainly because of a great guide; Antonio. Spoke perfect English and knew a lot about everything. Moreover, a particularly friendly man! Only downside was the huge crowds in Sintra and at the castle.

This trip was fun. Hotel pick up. Friendly, informative, fun guide Nono Newno? No idea how to spell his name. A few differ stops on the way to Sintra, a couple surprises too. The jeep was a very nice change to a mini-bus. Sintra and Pena Palace are a must see and not far from Lisbon.

good days fun guide very friendly brought us to a beautiful restaurant

Booked this trip through Zebra Jeep Safari for 2 adults and a teenager. From the moment our driver Michell picked us up at the hotel he was extremely polite and informative. Meeting up with our other jeeps for the day we set off into the mountains taking in different aspects of Portugese life from basket making to alcohol and jam making. The off road part of the day was fantastic, yes bumpy along the ditches but great all the same. Stopping off at various points for either sampling fruit straight off the trees, picking herbs off the ground for us to smell and stopping off for unbelievable views. Lunch included which was in a small restaurant where the food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The other drivers were very entertaining when all gathered as a group and listening to the knowledge that Mario had about the area and the land we were exploring was very informative and interesting he seemed to know everyone! Yes the driving at times could be extreme, we had to have a new vehicle brought to us as ours broke, but that is what we came for. We had a couple of elderly people in our jeep, one of which started to feel unwell and the response for the drivers was applaudable, making sure he felt comfortable and making regular checks on him. All in all it was a great day out thoroughly enjoyed by our family and good value for money.

This tour was a lot of fun, helped by our driver Joanne, you get to go up to the mountains and see views and scenery you would not otherwise get to see, the morning is spent careering round the mountainous landscape seeing sink holes, cliffs, the western most point of Europe and a hill top monastery. This was followed by a lunch in a delightful restaurant which served a three course lunch with wine and followed with coffee and a bit of brandy, the afternoon was a bit more relaxed with a couple of hours round the shops In Sintra and then the Pena palace which was had the appearance of a fairy tale castle. This was a full day very enjoyable the guides were entertaining and informative, convenient pick up and drop off at our hotel, would defiantly recommend, in fact already have

We have just got back to our hotel after an 8 hour wonderful day in a Jeep Safari. Picked up at our hotel, Yellow Laos Meia Preia, by our excellent driver and guide for the day Chillo. Chillo took us along with 6 others up through the Monchique mountains and villages and kept us extremely well informed throughout. He stopped at a small cafe for drinks and toilet before continuing into the mountains. This was certainly an Off-road adventure, taking us where cars and buses have no chance. The steep climbs and descents were no trouble at all for his open top landrover. We stopped to sample the smell of Eucalyptus in boiling water, wow no wonder it clears your synus problems, and another drink etc. After further Off-roading we then stopped to sample and purchase the local Fire water drink as well as homemade honey produced from the hundreds of roadside Beehives. Later stopping for lunch, drinks and a rest. We were treated to further offroading and a visit to a beautiful blue lagoon. The view from the top of Monchique mountain at 900mts, was fantastic all around. Further Off-roading on the route back to Lagos before sadly being dropped back at our hotel. An amazing day, money very well spent by choosing this trip. I have to say sorry to Chillo for not tipping him at the end of the trip, neither did non of the other parties, my only reason was that I had nothing smaller than a 20 Euro note, I hope my words of thanks get to you Chillo. Thank You.
