Tour Options
Itinerary
At low tide, a sandbank protrudes to offer a walk on the purest white coral sand. The perfect beach to relax on surrounded by azure blue waters. The excursion relies heavily on the tides, currents, and weather conditions and is not always possible. A cooler box of fruits, box lunch and refreshments is brought along. This is a 15-minute boat ride from the Vumawimbi beach on the most northern point of Pemba Island. Vumawimbi beach is one of the most stunning stretches of white sand beach on the Zanzibar archipelago, and it's entirely free of hotels and tourism development. It’s a pretty isolated spot, so bring some company and finish off your day with a secret picnic and enjoy some idyllic views that are pretty close to heaven. For now it remains a gloriously local beach, with most traffic children or oxcarts.
