This full-day private photography tour will take you to the iconic locations you see in brochures as well as those special spots only a local would know, to explore and capture the beauty and splendor for yourself. This tour is designed for photography enthusiasts and your guide is a passionate landscape photographer, with years of local knowledge. Enjoy 8-9 hours of visiting some of the most interesting and beautiful destinations close to Queenstown and around the Southern Lakes. The weather in this amazing region is constantly changing bringing many moods that to the mountains, lakes, rivers and forests. Whatever the conditions we always know where to take you to and how to capture unique scenes of outstanding natural beauty.

West - Glenorchy, Paradise and Kinloch - waterfalls, Lake Wakatipu, Moke Lake, Dart and Rees Rivers, gold mining, transport and farming history. East - Arrowtown, Crown Range, Gibbston Valley and Cromwell - heritage, vineyards, expansive views, rugged Kawarau Gorge, gold mining. North - Coronet Peak and Skippers Canyon, gold mining heritage, expansive views, alpine tussock landscapes and craggy, rugged, vertiginous Skippers Canyon road. South - Kingston, Lake Wakatipu, Remarkables Range, mountains, waterfalls, historic steam train, wild alpine tussock and rock tor country. North - Crown Range, Wanaka, expansive mountain and valley vistas, the highest road pass in NZ, gold mining heritage, Lake Wanaka, Mount Aspiring and the Southern Alps. Whichever direction you choose, your guide will take you to the best spots for capturing the splendor and magnificence. You will be mentored on finding great shots, creative composition and exposure to help you capture the majesty and beauty.

Martin was fantastic. I bought a camera especially for this trip and he showed me how best to use it as well as coached on composition of photos. He knows the area inside and out. We saw a variety of gorgeous landscapes. Martin is also very familiar with the area history and hidden gems. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had a great day with Martin touring the Queenstown area allowing my wife and I to take (as the name of the company suggests) simply remarkable photographs. My wife is a photographer and Martin took us to places we probably would not have found on our own and helped with ideas to take the best pictures possible. Martin was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our entire group had a fantastic time as Martin showed us wonder after wonder traveling through the deserts, forests, and lakes of NZ. Martin shared with us so many hidden gems and great vantage points, he also helped dial in my camera settings for the day and offered helpful tips along the way. Martin also supplied us with hot coffee and muffins overlooking queenstown, and took us to a wonderful cafe for lunch. Highly recommend if you’re interested in spending the day shooting with a friendly expert and learning about the region.

Had an amazing day with Martin. His knowledge of the local areas and his advice on photography was fantastic. We went to two different locations. First we went to the Remarkables and did some very good shots of the area from high up and some artsy shots of a winding street. After that we took Skippers Road and wow, what a great landscape. It was even better than the first location. Martin was great and took the time to show me how to take the best pictures. I can highly this tour. Time was over way too soon.
Our guide was knowledgeable not only about photography but the area around Queenstown. He gave us a wonderful taste of the surrounding area & New Zealand itself
