Kulen National Park covers the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire, Phnom Kulen. Learn about the site’s significance as the place where King Jayavarman II proclaimed independence from Java in 802 CE, initiating the Devaraja cult of the king. Explore the mountain, known during the Angkorian era as Mahendraparvata (the mountain of Great Indra), and see the 1000 Lingas carved under riverbed, Big Reclining Buddha, Waterfall ( This is the good place for swim if you want ), and enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside. Learn about how Phnom Kulen was further developed under the rule of Udayadityavarman II, who made it the capital of his empire and constructed many temples and residences.

On the day start tour guide will come to meet and greet you at your hotel in the lobby then we go on the tour head to Kulen mountain National Park. The way go there we will drive through countryside and you can see also the life of people who live in the rural areas as most all of them are farmers.

A sacred river with carvings of Hindu gods and lingas, symbols of the god Shiva, etched into the riverbed. The carvings are most visible during the dry season.
A 16th-century, 16-meter-long statue of a reclining Buddha carved into a massive sandstone boulder at the Preah Ang Thom pagoda atop the mountain. It is a popular pilgrimage site.
There are two main waterfalls in Phnom Kulen : • First waterfall: 4–5 metres (13–16 ft) tall and around 25 metres (82 ft) wide during the rainy seasons. • Second waterfall: 15–20 metres (49–66 ft) tall and around 15 metres (49 ft) wide during the rainy seasons. The size of the waterfalls varies according to the seasons and the rain. Visiting the waterfalls is a popular activity on Phnom Kulen tours. At waterfall also has a clear-crystal basin water that is good place if you want to swim.
