Itinerary
The Red Valley is best appreciated closer to sunset, when the red and pink rock lights up with the last rays of the sun. Abandoned old cave churches dot the valley along several trails. Be sure to climb the small peak overlooking the valley to get one of the best views in the region, over the valley in one direction, and towards Mount Erciyes in the other. One of the nicest & most most beautiful places to go walking in Cappadocia is the Red Valley (Kızılçukur) and Rose Valley (Güllüdere). The two valleys are next to each other and it is hard to know on which one you are walking. There are so many different trails. While you are walking, you will see many living quarters, vineyards, apricot and almond trees. Along the way you'll also see many ancient cave churches: such as Uzumlu Church (9th century), Kolonlu Church (11th century), Hacli Church (11th century), and Ayvali Church (12th century).
Visit the best panoramic views of the Cappadocia.
See the castle and around it and enjoy the best views

Turan, our tour guide was very knowledgeable in the history of Cappadocia. He is not only a native to the city from many generations before him but he is also a tracker and studies the lands. Turan made our experience fun, informative, and gave us tips on how to get around town. He also took us to one of the most authentic restaurants in town that serves their local food that was delicious. Overall, great experience, I would highly recommend requesting Turan for your tours.

The pottery! Love Valley! All of it! Wonderful tour guide very knowledgeable and picked great places to show us!
My husband and I had the opportunity to visit Istanbul last month, and because of the pandemic, we wanted to do private tours to minimize our exposure to too many people in close proximity. We also enjoy doing food tours, as they are a great way to not only taste the local cuisine, but also learn the history of the area. Ayhan was great, as he reached out to me several weeks before our trip to introduce himself, checked in with us right before we arrived, and did the same after we arrived, as we did our tour on the evening that we arrived. From the beginning, Ayhan was very engaging, telling us details and information about Turkey, in general, and Istanbul, in particular. He introduced us to some very delicious dishes (Turkish pizza, the best kabobs we've ever had, baklava, and other yummy treats), and they ended up being the best tasting and best quality foods that we had during our entire visit to Turkey! He was also very helpful with regard to suggestions about buying souvenirs, and introduced us to a shop owner, from whom we purchased some unique ceramic items for our home. Even after our tour was over, Ayhan reached out to us to see how our visit was going, both while we were still in Turkey, as well as once we arrived back home. All in all, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Ayhan.
Thank you so much for choosing us for your trip in Turkey
