Our tour guide Punit is an excellent guide, full of fun and extremely helpful- he arranged wheel chairs for my parents who are 80 years old and without this facility we would not have been able to tour the fort. His jokes were very funny and even my daughter who is always grumpy as a teenager was enjoying and having fun🤣 I highly recommend everyone to visit Amer fort when you visit Jaipur and ask for Punit as your guide - he will make the visit memorable and something to brag about
An incredible fort that plunges us into the distant past. The architecture is beautiful with lots of colors and details. The place is huge, it takes about 2 to 3 hours to visit. The story is fascinating with the different rooms that served the Emperor and his family. On the way down, we can see a puppet show. The only downside is the elephant ride which is torture for animals. There is the possibility to do the climb on foot or quad bike.
Very nice experience visiting the fort and its museum worth the trip 2 days is enough in my opinion
Amber Fort another spectacular place to visit in India, although the weather was terrible it added to the adventure. Racing back brown the hill in the Jeep trying to avoid the floods was quite an experience. It was well worth the visit.
A place to discover absolutely. A treasure preserved in a remarkable way. The scenery is beautiful The site offers you a breathtaking view
Our tour guide Angelique provided us with the rich history of this palace The elephant ride was amazing and the snake charmers The scenery is majestic The local hawkers an photographer really trouble you an can spoil your mood Try an avoid them as they insist that you buy these photos which has two sets at 5000 After a while that get cross an sell to you for 1000
I had the opportunity to visit the Amber Fort or Amber Fort, which for me was the most important visit I made in Jaipur, located on a hill outside the city is a fort and imposing palace complex where kings and their wives lived, inside there are gardens, spacious lounges with rich architecture and decoration worth appreciating, located 11 kilometers and around 15 minutes from the center, you can go on a Tour or just hiring a taxi, admission costs 500 rupees and you can stay as long as you want, inside you can buy souvenirs at good price also there are guides in different languages at good price, I hired a guide in Spanish for 400 rupees, another attraction you can do there is climb by elephant worth 2500 rupees.
Have a guide with you to explore this fort and palace. Suggest to visit in the morning time to avoid crowds. When the visit near to end there is also money exchange place within the fort however there are charges just as you expect in airport.
Sawar Bhat my guide took care of me really well and is very knowledgeable in the forts history and lesser known facts. Had a great time overallS
it's been the third time I visited this place with my family and it always made me feel nice and special, homely and enriched with heritage. As I always notice these lil things, going there is time taking due to explosion of population but that doesn't make the place deteriorate in its quality. Also, I'd like to add pls do consider the lights and sound show in the evening to actually appreciate it's history and listen...closely listen to the voice of Amitabh bachchan (there's just something so iconic in his oration) & a bit of a heads up pls do not take people with weak hearts and old people who have difficulty climbing upstairs...it might lead to problems sooner or later. Absolutely lovely for photography. Amazing experience!
