Itinerary
Meet your guide in hotel lobby at 9:00am and start your tour with a visit to the Jama Masjid (literally Friday Mosque), also known as Jumah Mosque or Jami' Masjid, is a mosque in Ahmedabad, and was built in 1424 during the reign of Ahmad Shah I. The inscription on the central mihrab commemorates the inauguration of the mosque on the 1st Safar A.H. 827 or January 4, 1424 A.D. by Sultan Ahmad Shah I.
Then visit Siddi Siyed Mosque as one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad built in 1573. It was built by Sidi Saiyyed, an Abyssinian in the retinue of Bilal Jhajar Khan, a General in the army of the last Sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III of the Gujarat Sultanate
Visit Gandhi Ashram (Sabarmati Ashram), which is located in the Sabarmati suburb of Ahmedabad on the banks of the River Sabarmati. This was one of the residences of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, generally known as Mahatma Gandhi, who lived here for about twelve years along with his wife Kasturba Gandhi. You will also see some Ashram attractions, such as Magan Niwas, Upasana Mandir (Prathana Bhoomi) and Hriday Kunj.
From here travel to Hathee Singh Jain Temple. The construction of the temple originally was initiated by Shet Hathisinh Kesarisinh, a wealthy Ahmedabad trader. The construction was supervised and completed by his wife Shethani Harkunvar after his death.
Make a stop at the popular restaurant (Own Expense) . After lunch proceed to Adalaj Stepwell to see unique Hindu "water building" in the village of Adalaj. The 5-story deep step-well was built in 1499 by the Muslim king Mohammed Begda for Queen Rani Roopba, wife of Veer Singh, the Vaghela chieftain. The step-wells were once integral to the semiarid regions of Gujarat as they provided basic water needs for drinking, washing and bathing. These wells were also venues for colorful festivals and sacred rituals.
Visit Akshardham Temple, a Swaminarayan temple complex. The complex displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture. Return back to hotel lobby with happy memories...!

I Am a Yoga Instructor and organised this tour for my clients who were visiting Ahmadabad.. Tour was well planned and organised and the Guide was very knowledgeable..
No show! Booked the tour on their website and waited for them. Did not show up. Only 1 of the 3 numbers provided worked. Wanted me to wait an hour for them to find a guide / driver. Requested refund.
Dear Ma'am.. We understand that the booking was made right before 6 -8 hours to the departure of the tour.. unfortunately due to Network and technical errors the booking was not Landed. Thought we politely requested 45 mints and driver and guide was on thier way to pick up point.. However we respect and understand the decision of Guest.. the booking was made directly on website not through Viator and trip advisor. The Amount paid is on hold with PayPal and yet not received in our account as you already placed a hold on the payment.. Mam I have already written to Paypal to remove the hold and revert the money back to you.. sharing the screenshot of the same on your email and Contact number. Mam we understand that the services could not meet on expected time.. And we regret the inconvenience caused . We have requested paypal to process the refund.. Regards Neha
Very poor. The guide did not speak a word of English and didn’t explain any of the sites we visited and didn’t even try to, using google translate for example. We visited a mixture of temples and mosques but with no guidance we could not understand the history or culture of any of it. The overall day cost £240 for two people which in our eyes is far too expensive for what we received. No water or lunch provided …
Ahmadabad was a good stay. There were too many places to visit. The best of the lot was the Akshardham temple and its laser show which was awesome one would not miss the same. It has some fun rides for the kids too. All in all a good place to visit with family including kids has something for everyone.
