Itinerary
Transfer from El Calafate hotels to Punta Bandera 7:30. Boarding at 8:30/9:00 am at the Private Port La Soledad (Bahía Tranquila, Punta Bandera). The journey begins with a northwest course, passing by Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo, the narrowest passage of the lake, with a width of approximately 800 meters.
After two hours of navigation, the succession of icebergs of various colors and shapes announces the proximity of the Upsala Glacier. We stop in front of the ice barrier that momentarily prevents entry into the Upsala Channel, and if weather conditions allow, we admire the Upsala Glacier from a distance.
We continue sailing on Lake Argentino heading south and take the Spegazzini Channel to reach the glacier of the same name. The navigation allows for a stunning approach to this glacier, which has frontal walls between 80 and 135 meters above the lake level. Lunch is served while enjoying this wonderful landscape.
Then we arrive at Puesto de las Vacas, a very calm bay within the Spegazzini Channel, where the engines are turned off to allow passengers to participate in an interesting guided walk coordinated by our team of guides. (depending on the weather)During this descent, it is possible to appreciate magnificent panoramic viewpoints of the Spegazzini Glacier.
In the afternoon, we sail in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. OPTIONAL: Descent on the walkways in front of the glacier, PLEASE CHECK ADDITIONAL FEE. (LIKE 10 USD PER PERSON) PAY IN GATE)
Subsequently, we return through the North Arm, arriving at the Private Port La Soledad at 6:00/6:30 pm. and backt to hotel 7:30 aprox
