You will learn that flamingoes that gather at Lake Nakuru National Park are considered one of Africa’s greatest natural sights, but the area’s wildlife and scenery go far beyond the bright pink birds. You will encounter that the park's residents also include big cats, rhino, buffalo, and even the rare black-maned lion, with varied ecosystems that support wonderfully diverse wildlife. Choose a private tour to Lake Nakuru National Park for morning and afternoon game drives across the floor of the Great Rift Valley, with the individualized service of a private safari guide throughout the day.

Itinerary
After meeting your guide at your hotel, airport or residence within Nairobi CBD at 6:00am, start your journey to Nakuru. While en route, stop at the Great Riff Valley view point where you will attain magnificent views of the escarpments. Arrive at Lake Nakuru by 9:00am, completing the 3-hour drive. Upon your arrival, start the 3-hour game drive with your guide and part. Break for lunch at a local restaurant .
Depart the park at approximately 3:00pm and head to Lake Naivasha for a 1-hour boat ride {OPTIONAL}. While on the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, and hippo viewing. Once your boat ride comes to an end, return to the dock. Begin the drive to Nairobi for a 6:00pm arrival and get dropped off at your hotel, airport or residence within Nairobi CBD.

Pick-up was punctual and seamless, drop-off the same. Once at the park, I met Peter, the driver and guide. Super knowledgeable and friendly, his eyes found animals I would not have seen. It was an amazing experience. One of the best that you can do in Kenya. The landscape in Nakuru NP is fantastic but lake Naivasha is like living in a fairytale. Paul (our driver ) was really friendly and helpful but the only things tha we didnt like it was that they asked to pay 30 usd per person for the boat ride while in our package the price was 25 usd per person and the whole day we didnt have bottles of water (in a very hot day ) that they were also included in our itinerary. This is the only reason we didnt rate with 5 stars.

Overall this was a good trip. Kelvin the guide was great. Friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring I saw as much as possible. The only down side was the lunch stop. The buffet food was subpar. I would have rather paid less for the trip and ordered off the menu and paid for my lunch.

The tour with Kelvin was great. We saw many wild animal and he showed me animals I wouldn't have seen and explained me a lot about the animals and the park. We stopped when asked and also to show me beautiful places and viewpoints.
