Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago. Located on the eastern end of Jejudo Island, there is a huge crater at the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. With the 99 sharp rocks surrounding the crater, it looks like a gigantic crown. While the southeast and north sides are cliffs, the northwest side is a verdant grassy hill that is connected to the Seongsan Village. The ridge provides an ideal spot for walks and for horse riding as well. The sunrise from the crater is magnificent. Also the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak surrounded by bright yellow colored canola flowers in the spring is truly a sight to behold. And You will watch a women diver show. Every day, there is Jeju Women diver performance in Seongsan Illchunlbong twice;13:30 pm and 15:00 pm. These women diver called Haenyeo goes deep into the sea to pick fresh seafood like abalones, and small octopus

I loved travelling with Ji Young. It was a private tour. Hi Young was very thoughtful and caring. She took exceptional care of mom and me. I highly recommend her.
Our tour of east Jeju was amazing thanks to our guide Ji Young! She picked us up by car (very comfortable) from the hotel to the destinations she suggested and which we evaluated together before leaving. The guide speaks English, only one of the couple speaks English fluently but this was not an obstacle to the success of the trip. The destinations are complicated to reach independently so we relied on them. The guide will accompany you to the destinations to visit and will wait for you (or possibly come with you) until you have completed your tour. Lunch took place together with Ji Young, we had a mixed Korean BBQ (a total of 78k won was spent which is approximately equivalent to €54) meat and abalone (a typical mollusk of the area, once cooked it resembles octopus) Throughout the journey the guide explained and told us about customs, habits, foods, customs and traditions of today's and past Korea. A truly interesting day! Highly recommended!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time exploring the East Course with JY! She was so sweet, funny, and welcoming - she made us feel right at home. We loved learning about Jeju culture, eating delicious black pork and dried squid, and walking the cypress forest and numerous Jeju UNESCO sites. We had such a lovely experience that we are already looking forward to returning to Jeju in the future - and seeing JY again!
JY is one of the most patient and accommodating guides that I've ever met. She is so pleasant and even my 2-year old nephew likes her so much! Her photography skills are great too. Love all the photos she take for me and my family !
