This is full day tour. In this day, you will visit the prison island where you can get information about the island and what is in side, you will see left prison. Also you will visit Aldabra giant tortoises and peacocks, you will have time to take beautiful photos and videos for memory. if it's a lucky day you can spot a very rare small antelopes. However in Stone Town you will witness different historical heritages and attractions that were left by Arabs, Hindus, British, Portuguese, french and so on like museums, Zanzibar doors and many many more. Here is where you will get full history of Zanzibar and Slave trade in East Africa. However you will have a chance for shopping. Lastly, you will visit the spice farm where you can have lunch before the tour then you will see the spice plants with spices on them, also you will get knowledge on how to grow them, to use them in the food and as herbal medicines. You will test Zanzibar aromatic fruit and coconut.

This is a walking tour that takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders,the former slave market for East African Slave trade, and the Arab Fort amongest others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar.The architectural style of Stone town buildings is a unique mixture of various influences and culture. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques! Stone Town has some excellent gifts shops with plenty of souvenirs and handicrafts to choose from. A guided walk through this colorful and alternating city with tour knowledgeable tour guides, who knows not only funny of Stone town, but also cruel stories to tell about life of the old times in Stone town. Stone town tour is a walking tour and takes almost 2 hrs of walking in the narrow streets.
This is our guided walking tour passes through villages and spice plantations, a walk through the farms as spice farms workers climbs trees, seek out specific plants and cuts off various barks, letting you see, feel and taste everything. You will be decorated with palm-leaf accessories such as ties, rings, bracelets and glasses. At the Spice farms you will have an opportunity to taste some of the exotic fruits of Zanzibar. After the tour we invite you for an opulent traditional Swahili lunch served by locals. here you will get a really taste of the spices in the food. However, this is the best place to buy fresh spices directly from the source and support the local farmers. It's recommended to have cash for those who would like to buy the spices. They accept USD, Euros and the local currency.

Mohammed was a fantastic guide throughout the day. He was friendly, welcoming and engaging, making sure we had a teaching and memorable experience. Everything was well organized, from picking up at the hotel to transportation between the sites and the exciting guided tours. Prison Island was fascinating with its history and impressive giant turtles, while Stone Town offered a deeper understanding of Zanzibar’s culture and architecture. The visit to Jambo Spice Farm was a real experience! The food was delicious, and the guide there made the trip both fun and educational. It was exciting to see, smell and taste various spices right from the plants, as well as the local fruits. The only tip is to pay attention to the weather – rain can make the spice farm a little muddy, so wear good shoes and clothes you’re not afraid of. So glad that I booked this tour! I had attempted to walk around Stone Town the day prior, but only managed to get lost in the winding alleys. With this tour you get to see the highlights of the wider Stone Town area. Mohammed is very friendly, knowledgeable, and certainly knows his way around Zanzibar, Stone Town, etc. He also timed our tour to miss the big crowds, which was fantastic. The best experience in Zanzibar. Mohammed was an extremely knowledgable, dignified and helpful guide - and the places we visited were fascinating. Mo was extremely knowledgeable about all things Stonetown when taking us around and happy to answer any questions when we asked. The transport was comfortable and cool which was lovely going in and out of from the heat of the Zanzibar sun! Our favourite part of the tour was the Jambo Spice Farm with such lovely, warm people taking us around ready to try all the fruits they produce, too. 100% recommend anyone to do this trip!

My guide was very kind and knowledgeable. We went to stone town walking tour then Changu island then spice farm. The food and fruit was delicious at the spice farm. I would recommend booking with this guide. Please note some services along the way may require tip so bring smaller currency notes.

The spice farm experience and Prison Island were unique. There wasn't much that stood out in Stone City and our tour guide was more interested in Stone City than the other two places that we visited, I would say that he was more interested in explaining things that I have to do with his religion than other things. Made me buy clothes to cover myself because according to him my dress was too short and we could only buy in shops that he wanted.

I think there may have happened misunderstanding when the tour guide told you to buy a dress to cover, according to the culture of this country, The government insist the tour operators that all travelers should obey and practice some small things while visiting public places like villages, towns, cities, schools and markes. It is forbidden to a tour guide to walk with travelers with too short outfits, skintight as well as transparent clothes, this is the order from the Government and not the tour guide, if the travelers walk in those kind of clothes, the tour guide and the tour company he is working for are given penalty of paying certain amount, stop working for a period or both of them, this may even result for a company to be stoped from doing tour business. For these reasons, I would like to advocate the tour guide that he was not doing any religious thing but he was doing his job as it's supposed by the rules and regulations of doing this job from the local government. Lastly, we are very apologetic for this. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
We had wonderful private tour with Mohamed. He picked us up at the Hotel and took us to Prison Island and walking tour of Stone Town. He was knowledgeable about Zanzibar, its history and people. We had a terrrific tour of the Spice Farm led by Bill. We had lunch at the farm before the tour then Bill gave us a detailed and informative walk through the spice fields.
