THE PICASSO MUSEUM In 1920, Pablo Picasso arrived in Antibes to spend the summer and began painting in the Château Grimaldi, which became the famous Picasso museum. The museum houses one of the largest collections of paintings, sculptures, ceramics and drawings by the Spanish artist. Before the construction of a dedicated building, the first ceremonies took place in the old Cannes casino The inauguration of the new building will take place on 09/11/1949. This first will also be called Palais Croisette. It will be replaced in 1983 by a new palace, the roof of the old one having been torn off due to a violent storm towards the end of the Festival, The new and final palace will be built on the old casino and inaugurated in December 1982. You would have free time to visit the Suquet district, which means “summit” in Provençal, and this name is not insignificant! Enjoy the Old Town of Cannes by strolling through this shady area which provides the much sought-after freshness during the hot summer days. Venture into the narrow, steep streets of the old town and browse the seasonal stalls. You could, if you wish, climb up to the Notre-Dame d’Espérance church and admire the most cinematic panorama of the city.

Pass by

Inseparable from the Cannes identity, the Boulevard de la Croisette forms a long promenade lined with palm trees and pine trees. Reminiscent of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. This sophisticated venue elegantly connects the beach and the city. While on one side there are fine sandy beaches, on the other there are numerous luxury brands, but also large hotels and palaces. You can't visit Cannes without strolling along the Croisette. This legendary walk runs along the bay of Cannes for three kilometers. Under the hot sun of the south of France, it forms a landscape worthy of a postcard.

60 min

A few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea, perched on the Southern Alps, this small charming village benefits from an ideal geographical location for discovering the Côte d'Azur and spending a pleasant stay of relaxation and discovery. Saint-Paul de Vence is also recognized for its cultural and artistic note. This village is, thanks to the diversity of its art galleries, one of the meeting points for artistic souls. The small village of Saint-Paul de Vence will charm you from the moment you arrive with the conservation of its medieval side. The guide will introduce you to the village and you will have free time to stroll through the cobbled streets.

A wonderful Riviera experience

Cannes was glamorous and busy, Antibes had a relaxed vibe, and St Paul de Vence was picturesque with its narrow streets and art galleries. The guide kept everything on time but still allowed plenty of free time to explore each destination.

Gracious host, broad cultural experience

Billie was kind, accommodating, and an excellent tour guide. I had accidentally provided the wrong address for pickup, and Billie was extremely understanding and gracious. She was able to reconfigure the tour a bit and took extra time for us to get the full experience. I am extremely grateful for her thoughtfulness. The tour was carefully curated but still with adequate independent time. Five stars. Enchante!

This tour covers the best of the Côte d'Azur. Our guide was fantastic and gave us great recommendations for lunch in Antibes. St. Paul de Vence is a must-see before you leave France. 10/10 experience!

We enjoyed the variety of the day

Cannes was energetic and crowded, but taking photos along the promenade was fun. Antibes offered a slower pace, walking through old streets, small shops, and enjoying the view of the harbor. St Paul de Vence was very quiet, with charming cobbled streets and artistic shops. The village felt peaceful and scenic, and it was easy to explore at our own pace.

A very pleasant tour

The guide kept everything on time and explained things clearly. Cannes was lively but very touristy. Antibes allowed enough time to walk around and sit by the harbor. St Paul de Vence was peaceful, but walking uphill might be tiring for some people.

A brilliant adventure

Cannes was busy and lively, especially near the promenade, so it felt more like a short walk than a deep visit. Antibes was more relaxed, and we enjoyed wandering through the old town. St Paul de Vence was calm and charming, though some streets were a bit crowded in the afternoon.

Good trip

It was a fun day with Billie. She helped us with lots of information about the places we visited and was very patient. Cannes seemed a bit touristy and nothing much to do or explore. But Antibes and St Paul De Vence was mesmerizing. Billie arrived well on time and ensured a smooth trip. Thanks Billie.
