Great day trip with a beautiful bunch of people and a fab guide (Belle). The place is stunning and I’m so glad I did it. Having lunch in a clearing was great too and Belle laid on a great picnic with fresh coffee too. It was a bit windy so the paddle home took a while but for me, this added to the whole fabulous experience.
What an unforgettable adventure! Our kayaking day trip with Kanu Kapers through the Noosa Everglades was one of our highlights of our time in Noosa. Paddling through the serene waters, surrounded by pristine wilderness, felt like stepping into another world. If you’re visiting Noosa, this is a must-do experience—we loved every moment! Thanks to our amazing guide Bella, we are grateful for your knowledge, yummy lunch and mindfulness moments 😌

We had a wonderful day out for the Aura Vet Hospital Christmas party last Sunday with 17 staff members taking a guided kayak tour of the Noosa Everglades. Our guides, Jan and Belinda were friendly, informative and helpful and looked after us very well. We were provided a delicious morning tea and lunch on the banks of the Noosa River and to top it off we had perfect weather for the outing. Great
Thank you! Thanks for choosing us for your Christmas party—we’re so glad you all had a wonderful day out on the Everglades! Jan and Belinda loved hearing your kind words. Perfect weather, great company and a delicious riverside feast—sounds like an awesome way to celebrate! We’d love to have the Aura Vet Hospital team back for another adventure anytime. Wishing you all a fantastic year ahead!
It was good to be out on the water today with the Kanu Kapers crew. The weather was wet and…..beautiful as we paddled up the Noosa River Everglades. The scenery was ever-changing……it was like canoeing through a botanical garden. Our Guide was patient and encouraging. The team was well organised and, as an older person, I felt safe on the water. It was not ‘easy’…….nothing worthwhile ever is……..I am happy to recommend this Kayak Tour.
Thank you so much for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed your tour and I will pass on your feedback to the team, I'm sure they will appreciate it.
Fantastic tour, thanks so much! Our guide was very thoughtful and knowledgeable and the Everglades were just so beautiful. The paddling was fun with little breaks throughout to learn about the history of the area and the plants and birds. Morning tea and lunch were superb! Would highly recommend and look forward to doing this again some time.
I'm so glad you had a enjoyable time in the Noosa Everglades with us! We look forward to seeing you again in the future :)
We did this tour on October 17. The equipment was very good. The guide motivated us very well and brought history, flora and fauna closer to the area. Also the lunch was very good. The only downer: we haven't gotten a link to the photos from the Dropbox yet. k-i.lange@web.de Karsten and Ines

I cannot explain how bad this tour was, after 5 hours of kayaking heading back looked like a big storm coming. Instead of taking shelter at the information centre, our tour guide (jan) thought it would be a good idea to out paddle the storm. When it was tooo late we were in the middle of the lake with waves bigger than the kayak, hail lightning and water tornadoes which did capsize a kayak they were in the water crying, and our tour guide was no where to be seen, felt like it was everyone for them self. Than we had to take shelter in dense bushland in the hail rain and lightning for an hour freezing. They said we could not walk back, but no one wanted to get back in the water. It was because they didn’t want to leave the kayaks there, they would rather traumatised people get back in the stormy waters. After having no choice but to kayak back we were getting swept out again with tour guides no where in site to help. They need to review there emergency procedures as this was far from ok.
Thank you for your feedback. We truly regret the experience you had and take your concerns very seriously. Regarding the storm, we want to clarify that our team was actively monitoring the situation remotely via the Bureau of Meteorology, relaying real-time information to our guides to help them make informed decisions and the guides were communicating with each other to manage the situation via their handheld UHF radios. While we aim to ensure the safety of all participants, this particular storm intensified unexpectedly and rapidly over the group, making it a very challenging situation. Our guides were equipped with spare warm clothes in their emergency kits and distributed them to help keep participants comfortable during the waiting period. We understand the frustration about not walking out, but it was ultimately safer to wait for the storm to pass than navigate through the dense bush without formal walking tracks. When weather conditions allow, we do escort participants by foot from Kinaba, so this decision was made purely in the interest of safety, not due to concerns over the kayaks. We are committed to reviewing our emergency procedures and ensuring that such situations are managed as best as possible in the future. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and please feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss this further.
We first did this tour in December 2023 and loved it so much we came back for a second go - and it will not be our last! Terrific guides, stunning views, great lunch. The river is breath-taking, and the sea-kayaks are the perfect way to explore it. A superbly run tour.
Wow—thank you! It's awesome to hear that you enjoyed your first trip so much that you came back for round two (and more to come!). The Everglades really are something special, and we’re so glad you had another great experience with our team. We’ll be ready whenever you’re up for your next adventure! See you on the water again soon!
We had an amazing kayaking experience with Liesl and Jan. It was just so peaceful and we loved every minute of it. We liked the fact that our guides had a great knowledge of the area. They were also very accommodating to everyone in the group and checked in with everyone. The lunch was an absolute feast. The weather was also great.
Thank you for such a warm review, we are so happy you enjoyed the day out exploring the everglades, and yes the guides do a great job with both the tour and the food :) The Kanu Kapers team
I went on this trip with my siblings and in-laws after my parents had recommended it and we absolutely loved it! The tour guides, Jan and Liesl were super friendly and attentive to the group's needs and energy levels. Morning tea and lunch were delicious and we saw lots of interesting wildlife like azure kingfishers and goannas. Thank you so much for a wonderfully peaceful and rejuvenating opportunity to reconnect with the beautiful nature.
Thank you so much for your review! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the tour so much :)
