In a comfortable minibus we will begin with the pick up at hotels, at 08:00 hours approximately, to start our trip, accompanied by a bilingual guide.
Along the coast of Argentinean Lake, we will continue until the crossing with the route 40 that we will take towards the north. Approximately half way we will arrive at the La Leona Inn, an old construction dating from 1894, on the river of the same name, where we will learn about its history.
Continuing towards the north, and after several stops at panoramic points, we will surely meet with herds of guanacos and hares. We will go to “Chorrillo del Salto”, which is 4 km away from El Chaltén, where we will enjoy the enchanting landscape and a natural waterfall of 20 meters high in the middle of the mountain range. If preferred, passengers may choose to walk the self-guided trails to the Mirador de los Cóndores or Las Águilas. (Condors Viewpoint or Eagles Viewpoint)
Lunch will be held at a restaurant in El Chaltén. (Does not include drinks) At around 3.30 hs pm we will return to El Calafate, estimating our arrival between 20:00 and 21:00 hs, after an enriching experience.

What a great day. The hikes and views were amazing. So beautiful. Our guide Mercedes was absolutely the best!!! She knew her stuff and attended to all of our needs. One of the best guides that I have ever had.
thank you
Wonderful and Windy-This tour takes all day. Be prepared for a complete spectrum of weather. We were and had a great time. There are many opportunities for spectacular photography of Fitz Roy as the clouds and sunlight are constantly changing. The tour is topped off with a lovely waterfall and stone hopping across a mountain stream. Our tour guide spoke Spanish and English. She was patient and generous with information while herding us through the day. We were very well served.
thank you jeff
This turned out to be a much larger tour group than I expected. Picked up from my accommodation in a van, but soon transferred to a coach bus, with 40 tourists on board. We were offered two options for the day: 1) do a short guided hike up to a lookout offering good views of Mount Fitz Roy and the peaks nearby, followed by lunch in a local restaurant, or 2) do a longer self-guided hike to get closer to Mount Fitz Roy, with a boxed lunch. I opted for (1). The only negative was the 45,000 ARS park pass that was needed to gain access to do the hike. Expensive, considering the hike only took about one hour in total. After lunch, we drove east of town, for an easy 500 meter hike to a waterfall. Many, many tour groups doing the same, resulting in WAY too many people at the waterfall simultaneously, literally tripping over one another, and jockeying for photos. Bedlam. Think the tour companies need to get together, and arrange slot times for the waterfall, to have their groups arrive at different times.
yes the van broke before leaving, and it is new the fee of national park , thank you i will take notice
Everything was fine, Luis, our guide, always attentive and very friendly. The food ok, the walks aren't as long as one would like.
Gracias !
We had an amazing experience on the Full Day El Chalten trip from El Calafate. We were lucky to be just our family of 4 on the bus and it was like a ‘custom’ tour. The tour was managed by Al Patagonia Travel and Tourism. Our guide Daniela was awesome. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable, nature lover and very good with English. We learned and discussed a lot about the area, landscape, animals, trees, plants, birds and flowers on our way. She even walked with us to the Condor Viewpoint at Chorrillo del Salto. The trip was really good. We enjoyed the landscape, lakes and rivers and mountain views in the distance. We saw some guanacos, condors and other animals. The stop at Parador La Leona was quaint and enjoyable. The landscape and waterfall at Chorrillo del Salto were amazing. The walk up the hill to the Condor Viewpoint was pleasant with breathtaking views of El Chalten, the awesome landscape and Fitz Roy and other mountain peaks in the distance. Being able to see some condors flying around from the top was awesome. El Chalten was a small town to walk through with nice streets, houses, restaurants, ice cream and other shops and great views. The whole trip was very much worth it and we enjoyed every bit of it.
Thank you
I didn't imagine it was so beautiful! It's beautiful!! I'll have to go back. Divine people, good services and amazing scenery! 😍

We were so lucky to have Saira as our tour guide and Gustavo as our driver. Saira was so passionate as a tour guide and very knowledgeable. She check on everyone making sure they are safe. Also, she get a good pictures. Very patient to my group since I had seniors with us travelling. Lucky to have her as our tour guide!! Thumbs up!! The place is amazing!!!!
Thank you
Was not impressed with tour guide. Signed up for English speaking guide but she did both languages plus a speech tick which made it very fatiguing to listen too. I had to drown her out as to not have a massive headache.
we had two sick guides and the guide that went for the tour spoke regular english
Previous bad reviews put me off a bit but I am glad I was not put off.Hood guide and very well priced with lunch included
we change many things, thank you maria
The bus provided could barely make it up the hills, the rear speakers did not work so we could not hear the commentary. The bus was hot and driver was eventually able tovget some air going. The guide Gabriella was frustrated with the poor equipment provided and did her best to walk to back of bus to provide commentary and directions. The stops and sights were very good. The lunch location was fine but the milanesas were mediocre at best. The guide told us to complain to the provider company about the equipment quality.
Yes we had to change the bus before departure , thank you for let us know
