Itinerary
07.00 - 07.30 am.: We pick you up from your location and then take a scenic hour-long drive to Chiang Rai.
8:40 am : Take a relaxing break at a natural hot spring. The water contains a variety of minerals, including sulfur, which is said to have therapeutic effects. In hot spring pools, you can relax while soaking your feet. In addition to relaxing in the hot springs, you can stroll leisurely through the peaceful surroundings while exploring the local nature paths.
09.00 - 10.30 am. Drive to White Temple .
Visit a hill tribe village, home to the Karen Long Neck and other ethnic groups. Learn about their traditions, daily life, and craftsmanship. Part of the admission fee supports community needs such as healthcare, water, and electricity. The villagers welcome visitors and are happy to share their culture. If you prefer to skip this activity, you may wait at the village entrance for about 30 minutes.
12.00 pm : Enjoy a delicious buffet Thai lunch at a local restaurant. Lunch included.
01:00 p.m : Visit the Blue Temple (Rong Suea Ten Temple), is renowned for its blue and gold design and beautiful murals depicting scenes from local mythology and Buddhism. This serene attraction offers a unique perspective on Thai temple architecture and style. The temple is still under development, with ongoing improvements and additions. It's a must-visit attraction for those exploring Chiang Rai's cultural and artistic wonders..
02.10 p.m.: Visit the Red Temple ,Big Bhuhda(Wat Huay Pla Kang), where you can climb a 25-meter Guan Yin statue to an observation viewpoint. The top of the dragon pagoda offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and Chiang Rai city. You can take in the scenic beauty and capture stunning photographs from this vantage point. The temple features a prayer hall, a golden pagoda, and stunning carvings and murals depicting Buddhist myths. Visit this extraordinary and lovely location if you are interested in Thai temples and culture.
03.40 pm.Return to Chiang Mai for 3 hours. All times are approximate.
10.30 am. : Explore the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), a spectacular and distinctive temple created by Thai artists. The outside of the temple is adorned with elaborate carvings and designs, while the inside is decorated with intricate sculptures and murals that showcase both traditional and modern Thai architecture.

- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- If you want to end the tour in Chiang Rai, please inform us in advance. We will drop you off at the main road only, not at your hotel.
- If you have a suitcase, there will be an additional charge of 500 THB per bag. You can pay directly to the driver, but please let us know in advance to reserve space for the luggage. The driver has the right to refuse boarding if the customer declines to pay.
- If you have a child aged 0-2 years, please consider the following: The journey is 3-4 hours long, and the road is winding. Can your child sit on your lap for the entire duration? If you require an extra seat, there will be an additional cost of 500 ฿. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange the seat. Payment can be made to the guide on the day of departure."
- If there are not enough passengers, we will use the same transportation as those who purchase tickets for the Longneck Hill Tribe (optional A). If you do not wish to join, you can wait at the coffee shop in front of the village for about 30 minutes. )
- For separate bookings, please send all booking references at least 2 days before the travel date so we can try to seat your group in the same van.
- Please provide a WhatsApp-enabled phone number when booking so our team can easily reach you on the day of the tour.
- Airport pick-up is not available. This tour is not recommended for same-day arrivals or tight schedules, as timing may vary.
- Normally, we use a 12-seat van for transportation, but during the high season, we may use a 42-seat minibus instead.

Very friendly and enthusiastic guide. Friendly driver. Everything arranged smoothly. 3 beautiful temples! Convenient that we made 2 stops in the outward drive because it was a very long drive. We were picked up at 7.05am and were back at the hotel around 7.40pm

The temples of Chiang Rai are spectacular and well worth a visit. But keep in mind that you will be driving around 8h in a minivan. And our minivan was far from being the most comfortable ride with 13 passengers seats and thus a painful seat pitch. On our drive back to Chiang Mai the driver was also driving very fast on the curvy roads which did not result in us feeling comfortable in the back. The buffet lunch was by far the worst food we had in Thailand. All in all the temples are well worth a visit but the tour was not the best. If you also do not have too much time in the area, we would rather recommend doing a tour to Don Inthanon National Park and visit an elephant camp which for us was the better experience.

Honda was energetic and hardworking, but his English was difficult to understand. We felt we missed whatever history he was telling us about our tour of the temples. He graciously took pictures of us at each stop. It was also a long ride in the van. If you happened to be in the rear seat. It was an uncomfortable ride. This tour lasts 12 hours.

Both myself and my partner really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide was M&M, she was very sweet, funny and exciting. She was also very knowledgeable. The tour was very well organised. M&M made sure we had water, took regular toilet breaks and loo role to hand. She allowed me to charge my phone in the car as it was running out of battery. M&M allowed us to have a good amount of time for each destination, she allowed us to take pictures and brought our tickets for each attraction and gave us options if we wanted to join her or go solo. M&M works very hard and is the best guide we have had. The driver was experienced, safe and kind too and helpful. Both worked hard on a long 14 hour day and both deserved a tip, which is very important for foreigners to do. Tour is recommended if you enjoy temples. On return journey we had a welcome break dipping our feet in a hot spring steam.
My favorite day in Thailand this far. The van picked me up from my hotel and our tour guide MM, was the absolute best. She has great energy and knowledge. She truly made the tour unforgettable. We stopped for a restroom break before beginning our journey. We visited each temple with the option to see the Long Neck Village. The amount of time at each temple was absolutely perfect (coming from someone who used their time to meditate and explore at each). We were given a buffet lunch that had great options. This tour was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a perfect day trip this is it; I got in the bus at 7AM and got arrived at my hotel after the day was over at 7PM. Highly recommend!! (From a 23 year old solo female traveler) if you are lucky enough to get MM as a tour guide, cherish every moment!!
