Spend a full day relaxing on an idyllic tropical island with other day cruise guests. Departs Daily. A free Nadi/Denarau return coach transfer to/from Port Denarau and transfer to the Castaway in our modern catamaran that have air-conditioned lounges, outside viewing decks and fully licensed bars, meaning you’ll feel on holiday, even enroute to your island escape! Cruise to Castaway Island and laze in the sun beneath swaying palms on a golden sand beach. Snorkel straight off the shore into crystal clear waters and over vibrant coral reefs thriving with marine life. Other non-motorised water sports and activities available include kayaks, catamarans and windsurfers. Resort facilities include a freshwater swimming pool, three bars, resort boutique, island massage and a range of water sports (additional charge). Enjoy the expansive views while dining beachside at the Terrace Restaurant for lunch. Come late afternoon, return to Denarau, cruising past the scenic Mamanuca Islands

Castaway is one of Fiji's most beautiful island resorts and has an amazing 'Fijian family' friendliness. It is home to a fantastic range of things to see and do. You'll cruise out to Castaway on our high-speed catamaran. The beauty of the resort with its perfect white sand and swaying palms stretches before you as you are welcomed ashore. Enjoy lazing in the sun beneath the trees and wander along the soft sand. Snorkel straight off the beach in the crystal-clear waters and over vibrant coral reefs. An island massage experience or the use of motorised and non-motorised water sports equipment including kayaks, catamarans and windsurfers is available for an additional charge. Resort facilities include a freshwater swimming pool, three bars and a resort boutique. On the return cruise to Denarau you'll take in the sights of other islands in the Mamanuca group. The perfect end to a perfect day.

Pickup Locations & Times
Please note that the departure time shown on your tour is the VESSEL DEPARTURE TIME FROM PORT DEANRAU, NOT YOUR COACH PICK UP TIME. If you require a hotel pick up, please select your hotel from the list of pick-up points in your booking process. The coach pickups commence approximately 75minutes before the vessel departs from Port Denarau. Please check with our reservations team for your coach pickup time or refer to the South Sea Cruises coach timetable on our website for more info. Please be waiting 10 minutes prior to the confirmed coach pickup time at the advised pickup location. If you miss the complimentary coach transfer, you will need to find your own way to Port Denarau before the vessel departs at your own cost. If you do not require a coach transfer please find your own way to the meeting point – South Sea Cruises check-in counter, Passenger Terminal, Port Denarau. Check-in starts 30 minutes prior to the day cruise departure time. You will need to provide the voucher number of your booking at the South Sea Cruises check-in Counter to redeem your boarding pass for the trip.

Best island for swimming. Good food. But no chairs or hammocks to sit on as they are attached to people staying at the resort. The real cast away island is across from it. But you can take a photo with the ball.
Outstanding beach! Pool was very refreshing and lunch was good! We really enjoyed the welcome and send off!
Castaway is a beautiful resort. The beach is really pretty with lots to offer. The lunch was good the boat ride took a long time like an hour and a half to get there. There were barely any spots available to sit beachside due to the actual resort guest saving them prior to our arrival. Resort guest didn’t seem pleased to have day tripper there. The pools are separated by Adult only and kid only which was a bit awkward for families I’m not sure if I would return

Castaway was an amazing experience got an amazing couples massage on the beach in a quiet area. Beautiful snorkeling and great time for family fun

Not much to enjoy at the island. The beach and seashore are not good enough for swimming, snorkeling or other water activities. Other islands seem better. Not the exact island of Castaway indeed. Just an island looking at the real island that took the movie and using the name to attract customers. Staff so far not friendly and good attitude.

We did the sunset tour in February. It was a fantastic experience with a great hosts and beautiful views. Highly recommend it.

An excellent resort with great food. Plenty of water activities like snorkeling, water slides and kayaking. Families with young children have access to a family friendly pool area.

It was nice sitting on the boat exploring different island but overall th guide did very little for the group other than make sure she counted the numbers on and off. There were other islands with drinks packages for $25 and $40 ticket with the ferry.. island hotel staff were lovely and friendly.
