Swap the bustling streets of Croatia’s capital for the serenity of nearby nature on a kayaking day trip from Zagreb. Access parts of the canyon that vehicles can’t reach as you paddle on crystal clear waters and feel the thrill of jumping from cliffs and swimming in natural pools. You’ll also visit the traditional village of Rastoke for an authentic glimpse into local culture.

Itinerary
Meet a driver at your Zagreb hotel or central meeting point, then board a climate-controlled vehicle for the trip towards Mrežnica river.
About an hour and half of driving from Zagreb we will reach our destination. On arrival you will meet the skippers and get familiar with the equipment. Here we will have a coffee and toilet break before you start with the kayaking experience.
About 3 hours you will spent kayaking on the river. When we say kayaking we mean a leisure pedaling downstream the river, stooping at cool sights, swimming and enjoying breathtaking views.
During your free time in Rastoke, you can enjoy lunch, do some sightseeing, and even go for another swim before heading back to Zagreb.
After this memorable experience, we will head back to Zagreb. Just kick back, relax and enjoy the 1.5h ride back through the landscapes of Croatia’s countryside.

Everything was well organised would recommend if you have the time. The kayaking itself was arranged in boats for two people, the trip itself was challenging enough, yet beginner friendly. Bring sunscreen!
