An out of this world experience! We questioned whether the money would be worth it and oh wow was it worth it!! The lakes and waterfalls are some of the most gorgeous things I’ve ever seen and our guide Bojan truly helped us make the most of our trip! Not only was he great to help us see all the best points in the park but he truly thought out our route to ensure we didn’t have to climb uphill for too long and to give us maximum time at the best points! Aside from that he truly had such amazing insights into the history, geography and cultural heritage & stories of the lakes, surrounding areas and Croatia overall. He truly made my trip and I couldn’t recommend this tour enough!
You need a pair of good shoes for this trip. Well organised, two breaks to have a snack. Lakes are amazing
Poor planning but good tour. My tour got cancelled late night. I was given the option to get a full refund or choose another day, which wasn’t possible as I was only visiting for a day. They put me on an after noon tour, cheaper and shorter, which I accepted as nobody else was accepting morning bookings that late. Unfortunately, the mishap didn’t stop there. I checked in at the meeting location and met the manager who asked me to wait, yet the team left without me. She said ‘we forgot to do a head count’😏 I joined the tour late but from there things were good. A decent route (H) was selected with boat and train. Afternoon isnt a bad time to visit as it wasnt too hot but i wish i had more time. We had two 30min breaks in between. The guide was also sweet but I hope management was better. The girl who helped me reach the bus late spent nearly 20 minutes just saying ‘its late, they are on highway, get s refund’. Only after i put my foot down highlight that it wasn’t my fault that she called the bus to stop and wait for me.
Recommended to take your own food and drinks. Also good walking shows. You will walk a lot. This is a stunning location and the guide made it even better! She was informative and friendly. The group was quite large but managed well. cannot fault it. I looked at a lot of options but this tour was for me the best...especially with the free Old Town tour of Zadar included. WOW! This was beyond all expectations. 1.5 hours that passed so fast. Quality information and great care taken of customers. Ante was TOP!
Wow! Bojan from Zadar In and Out Tours is Simply the best! A wealth of knowlege (with subtle humour) shared of Croatia on the tour bus to Plitvice Lakes. Lots of interesting stories and facts woven into Bojan's talk. Super organised and well thought out tour to ensure we had the very best experience. Plitvice Lakes is simply stunning. It's a little place of paradise and a must see! It's very easy to see how Bojan is clearly so very proud of his heritage and country. Bojan even gave lots of recommendations for local places to visit for the remainder of our trip to Zadar. 100% recommend this tour if you visit Croatia. Well worth the money! You will love it!
The trip went really well, everything was well organised. The guide Bojan was very nice . It was interesting to listen to his stories and facts about Croatia. The lakes and waterfalls are amazing 🤩
The tour guide was a wealth of information. We enjoyed spending time with her and the group. Monika offered excellent directions and kept us safe. The bus was comfortable. We liked that the bus stopped for breakfast/refreshment before entering the park. Once in, we could mostly set our own pace. Wear good walking shoes, bring some water and a snack there is food for sale inside but consider packing your own lunch if you’re a picky eater like me, or have health requirements. Great tour!!
Amazing experience…. Our guide Monika was fun, active and super cool. Everything was well organized. I doubt if we would have been able to cover most of the park if it was not for the guidance. We are so happy that we made the decision to do this tour with Zadar in and out and strongly recommend others do this tour with them.
This is a fantastic tour. Our guide (Monika!) had terrific communication. See photo for example of group communication during tour, so that you don't get lost, but are able to (mostly) set your own hiking pace. Even though one could visit Plitvice Lakes on your own, this way everything is taken care of. The guide provides so much local and national information. We learned a lot and found it to be so interesting. A short stop for breakfast before entering the park at a local rest stop, made the early start pleasant with a bit of coffee and strudel( or full breakfast if you want) before entering the park. The bus ride was comfortable. Depending on your preference, consider packing yourself some snacks, water, even a sandwich. Food options are limited in the park. I highly recommend this tour. Book directly with the operator if possible. We did not, and paid more than some others on our tour.
Bojan was an excellent guide who shared great history and local anecdotes. The day was expertly organized, the route we took around the lake really maximized the sights and there we were able to walk at our own pace with regular checking. Definitely recommend it.
