Itinerary

30 min

Picking up from the hotel and heading to the Arch of Charents

30 min

The Arch of Charents, a poetic gateway to Armenia’s soul! This monumental arch was built in 1957 and dedicated to one of Armenia’s greatest poets, Yeghishe Charents. While the arch itself is minimalist in design, the real magic is in the view: on clear days, you get a breathtaking panoramic sweep of Mount Ararat.

60 min

Geghard is a medieval monastery in the Kotayk province of Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status.

Admission included60 min

It is said that this natural monument is the result of the collapse of the volcanic rocks. The monument consists of huge paradoxically symmetric hexagon and pentagon basalt columns (nearly 50 meters high). These stones hanging against the gravity resemble an organ, which explains why it is also referred to as “Basalt Organ Pipes”.

Admission included60 min

The Temple of Garni is the only standing Greco-Roman colonnaded building in Armenia and the former Soviet Union. Built in the Ionic order, it is located in the village of Garni, in central Armenia, around 30 km east of Yerevan. It is the best-known structure and symbol of pre-Christian Armenia.

Sights around Yerevan

We took a tour to see the sights around Yerevan, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We truly loved the service — everything was well organized and comfortable. A special thank you to our driver Artak for his professionalism and smooth driving, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We were especially impressed by the fascinating and engaging stories about Armenia shared by Armene, they made the journey come alive and added so much depth to what we saw. Honestly, we didn’t want the day to end. Highly recommended!

We were able to see the Garni Temple, Geghard and the Symphony of Stones as expected. We appreciated the attention to detail, including playing music from our country in the car. Our guide, Ms Elen, was very knowledgeable, and our driver, Mr Varo, was courteous and punctual! Thank you very much!

A perfect private trip from Yerevan!

We had an incredible experience visiting Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery, and the Symphony of Stones! It's the perfect combination of history, culture, and nature, all within a short drive from Yerevan. Our guide shared fascinating stories, and it was very interesting to learn and see the hidden sides of the historical spots.
