In Trakai, travelers will stroll along the historic Karaim street, lined with colorful wooden houses built by the Karaim community brought to Lithuania in the 14th century. They'll learn about this unique ethnic group's traditions and see the Kenesa, the Karaim temple. From there, they’ll enjoy beautiful views of Trakai Island Castle from the lakeshore and have the chance to take a relaxing boat ride around the castle (optional, weather permitting), offering a different perspective of this fairytale-like fortress. Travelers can also choose to have lunch at a traditional Karaim restaurant, tasting local dishes like kibinai. Afterward, they’ll have free time to explore the area on their own—visit souvenir shops, enjoy the lakeside views, or enter the castle if they wish to explore it inside.

At Užutrakis Manor, travelers will explore the beautifully restored 19th-century neoclassical estate of the Tyszkiewicz family. The manor is surrounded by a picturesque French-style park designed by Édouard André, featuring elegant pathways, terraces, fountains, and a wide variety of trees and flowers. From the estate’s grounds, visitors will enjoy panoramic views of Lake Galvė and Trakai Island Castle in the distance—perfect for photos. The peaceful setting of the manor offers a glimpse into Lithuania’s aristocratic past and a chance to relax in one of the country’s most scenic and romantic landscapes.
