Fran was a lovely guide, very knowledgeable and fun!
Friendly, fun and informative tour with two completely different wineries. Francesca was a great host for the afternoon!
This tour is not worth the money. You visit 2 identical wineries and see and taste the same things. The bus is advertised as air conditioned but when we got on the driver had been sitting there with the door open and the temperature outside was 34 degrees. The bus was hot and uncomfortable the whole way. Way too much time spent at both places and seeing very little. Thought we would see some wine making. No . Had to wait each time for driver to show up and bus always hot. Suggest choose another company. Very disappointed.
Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. While we respect all opinions, we must firmly clarify the facts as your description does not accurately reflect the nature of our tour or our vehicles. The Wineries: To claim the two estates are identical is factually incorrect. We carefully select partners that offer completely different experiences, settings, and histories. The wines poured at each stop are distinct, featuring different grape blends, aging processes, and flavor profiles certified by the region. Bus Comfort & AC: All our tours are operated using modern, top-tier buses equipped with fully functioning air conditioning systems. During the recent European summer heatwaves, with outside temperatures reaching 34°C, opening the doors for boarding naturally causes a temporary rise in temperature. However, the AC was active and working perfectly. Given that the longest driving distance on this itinerary is just 30 minutes, the vehicle cools down rapidly. The Experience: Our itinerary timings are clearly detailed at the time of booking to ensure a relaxed pace for tastings. We are sorry if you did not appreciate the differences between the products, but we stand by the high quality and distinct variety offered by both of our hosting wineries. Best regards, Davide
The wine tour was a great experience, filled with lots of interesting history of wine making in the Valpolicella region of Italy. Both wineries were fantastic - and blending a larger vineyard with a smaller vineyard, was a great way to explore how different wineries can use the same grape varietals, producing the same expressions, can result in subtle differences in taste. Our guide; Francesca, was fun and filled the down time with fun anecdotes of local culture and customs. Well worth the price and I’d highly recommend it when visiting Verona!
Amazing experience! Francesca was very informative and friendly. Both wineries were beautiful with delicious wines, local cheeses and meat, and friendly sommeliers. I highly recommend this tour with Francesca!
