Barry (Barisia) was very personable, helpful, and most of all knowledgeable. He had multiple years of experience guiding tours within the park and knew everything you could possibly want to know about the park. I was very impressed. Would highly recommend.
We had the most wonderful day, and Frane was the greatest tour guide ever! Absolutely hilarious and very knowledgeable. The whole trip there flew by as he filled us in on so much history of Croatia and Europe overall. And the time at the park was perfect and breathtaking. Would highly recommend to anyone!
It was a unique experience from beginning to end! The landscapes are magnificent and breathtaking! Our was great, always ready to explain and clarify our doubts! I recommend the experience!
Barisa was an excellent guide!! We appreciated the experience with a guide instead of a self guided tour because otherwise we wouldn’t have known the history/science about the park; he was extremely knowledge but also hilarious and engaging with our group! The park was insanely beautiful and definitely a must do. We did have a three hour bus ride from Split but it was absolutely worth the trip and Barisa made it all the more special!! Would definitely recommend booking this excursion !!
The visit was excellent. Our guide Garry was very helpful, friendly and fun. Gave excellent tips about Croatia and lots of historical information. The Lakes are an unforgettable experience.
Mia was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and kept the group moving at a good pace to see it all!
The round trip was very good, the bus driving was smooth, and the scenery is sublime! Highly recommended!
Tour guide Barry and bus driver Ivan were excellent! Barry was funny, informative, and all around a nice guy. The hotel pick up was convenient, and along the way, Barry provided historical insights on the Croatian cities we passed. On the tour, we walked the upper lakes and saw the falls up close, then we walked down to the lower lakes and got pictures from high view points. Barry has walked the lakes thousands of times and he knows the best routes to take for our group. He did a great job explaining the importance of the lakes and what kinds of animals and plants to look out for. If you are more adventurous and want a difficult hike with up close views (choose your own adventure) I would recommend either coming on your own or requesting to split from the group to wander until pick up time. But plan ahead! This park is HUGE.
Barisa & Ivan were great! Very professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining! Highly recommend the tour. Just plan for a long time in the bus, getting to and from the park. I appreciated that they factored in time for a rest stop break on the way there and on the way back.
Ian (driver) and Barry were such a GREAT team! Ian kept us safe there and back, and Barry was so funny, friendly, knowledgeable and responsible walking us through and teaching us all about the history and significance of the sights we were seeing (including views from the bus!) We had ~45 people, paid for the park ticket (discounted for students!), and was good for people of all ages! (Old, young, kids). Spent 5 hours at the park. 3 hr drive from split. 10/10 experience.
