From Salta: Two Full-Day Excursions through Cafayate and Cachi
Description
From the city of Salta, we will tour the center and south of the Lerma Valley, and then enter the Quebrada de Las Conchas Natural Reserve. Here we will find geoforms carved by nature such as La Garganta del Diablo, El Amphitheater, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos, La Yesera, El Sapo, El Fraile, El Obelisco, etc. In Cafayate you will have the opportunity to visit a winery, with tasting of the best wines in the area. After lunch, we return to Salta via the same route. Going to Cachi, we will visit the Quebrada de Escoipe and the imposing Cuesta del Obispo. After visiting La Piedra del Molino, you will be passing through the Los Cardones National Park. The small and magical town of Cachi, located at the foot of the snow-capped mountain of the same name, is characterized by its colonial-style facades, with mansions located on the edge of narrow, cobblestone streets.

A day before each activity, the passengers will receive a message to inform them about the pick up schedule and destination. The search time is between 07:00 a.m. to 07:45 a.m. within a range of 15 blocks from Plaza 9 de Julio.

I had a bad experience with this company. During the tour from 11-06-2025, the vehicle was taken out of service due to a battery problem. Instead of giving us a professional solution, we were divided between different companies with explanation and apologies from the Guide. It was my turn to continue with Alan Travel, which fortunately was very good. The problem was caused by the driver ' s failure to do a basic pre-check. This shows a serious lack of accountability. Most worryingly, no one from the company showed up or apologized the next day. Only the Lourdes guide had to put her face to the matter. (she nothing to do with it.) Excellent) and a collaborator asked Alan Travel's guide, how we were doing, having my phone number? Like these kinds of failures are normal. I do not recommend this company. Lack of organization, lack of communication and zero responsibility to the client.

Must-see Cachi and Cafayate! The roads to both destinations make the experience a beautiful connection to the nature of the north. Only the guide gave it waves at all times!
