Discover the vineyards and taste all kinds of Champagne, which range from great Champagne houses to small producers. Start your day with a sightseeing of the city of Reims, followed by a guided tour of Reims UNESCO world Heritage Cathedral. Enjoy a tour and Champagne tasting at the world famous Veuve Clicquot Champagne estate. Then, enjoy a lunch at local restaurant (included). After that, our guide will drive you through the Reims Mountain Grand Cru vineyard. You will finish the day with Champagne tasting and a cellar tour at a Champagne family Grower .

- Please note the tour departs from the city of Reims. If you are not staying in Reims, you will have to book and pay for your own transport to get there. We recommend to book your tickets in advance.
- Train recommendations : MONDAY to SATURDAY - TGV train 2709 from Paris-Est station at 8.28AM ; Arrival at Reims station at 9.14AM / SUNDAY - TGV train 2407 from Paris-Est station at 7.58AM, Arrival at Champagne-Ardenne station at 8.38AM /After your tour, any train from Reims station after 5.45PM.
- PICK UP ON SUNDAYS FROM MARCH - JUNE & SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER : if you are coming from Paris by train on the day of the tour, our guide will pick you up at 9.00AM (not 9.30AM) in front of the main entrance of the Champagne-Ardenne station. If you are already staying in Reims on the day before the tour, the meeting point will be at the Tourist Office of the Reims train station at 9.20AM.
- NO TRAIN AVAILABLE ON SUNDAYS IN JULY & AUGUST, we recommend to arrive in Reims one day before the tour as trains are not an option on Sunday mornings.
- Please note that France Intense cannot be held responsible for any train delay or cancellation.
- Tour & tastings at Veuve Clicquot & Family Grower will be done in English.

Possibly the best tour we’ve ever taken! Radames is an exceptional guide with extensive knowledge about the region and champagne. If you are going to take a champagne tour, take this one!

Our guide was an American from Los Angeles. He was outstanding and the best that we’ve had during our 2 week trip to France. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept it all interesting. Also very entertaining. We would want him to be our guide on a future trip

Amazing tour, Radames was an excellent guide. The information about the area, the champagne-making process and the industry was pitched perfectly. One tip: don't spend too much at the larger champagne houses in the morning; Radames will take you to lesser-known but better-quality producers later. The big houses are an excellent tourist experience, but this tour allows you to see how the best product is made.

Alvaro was very kind and knowledgeable. It was great. Two minor negatives: 1) we could have spent a little less time at lunch and at the second winery; and 2) the information provided did not give a clear departure time for those of us taking the train back to Paris.

This tour was wonderful! Reims, the cathedral, Veuve Cliquot and the Champagne region was fascinating. The lunch was outstanding. The best part of all was Radames! You need to request him as your guide. He is knowledgable and made the day enjoyable beyond expectations. He is a must!

It was a fun day with lots of champagne tastings at two very different kinds of champagne houses! Lunch was great and the Cathedral visit was magnificent! Pierre was friendly, fun and knowledgeable.

Oh wow!! This day trip was the highlight of my 3 week holiday to Europe! For a number of reasons. Firstly, I got to visit my "spiritual home" - Maison Veuve Clicquot. That tour alone was super special - and so fascinating. I thought that I knew the story of Madame Clicquot - but I didn't know the whole entire story - she was some amazing lady! Well actually even before the tour started I took us to the wrong train station - however it all worked out well and we got to see two out of the three train stations in Reims (the two that we did NOT need to go to lol!). Second highlight! But we were saved when our guide Pierre came and picked us up (from the wrong train station). Third highlight - Pierre our tour guide. We ended being the only 3 people (myself, my adult son and adult niece) on the tour - so that was even more perfect! The trip included a visit to Reims' Notre Dame, lunch at a beautiful restaurant and then we finished the day at a family owned Champagne House. We had the best day. The highlight for all of us - was the banter with Pierre! He is the absolute BEST tour guide in Reims! Also his music choice and singing in the van on the way back to the train station was fantastic! Definitely awesome family memories made that day! A special shout out to Ombretta from France Intense (the tour operator) for firstly fitting my son on to the tour at the last minute - and secondly for "saving" us when we went to the wrong train station.

Wonderful day. Our guide Pierre grew up in the region. He was knowledgeable about the area and history. Tour of veuve clicquot was amazing. Tour of Notre dame Reims and lung in Épernay were great! Train from Paris is easy.
