From Paphos: Larnaca Highlights with Lefkara Village & Nicosia
Description
Entertaining excursion through the island, where you will learn the history of Cyprus, see the biggest cities and visit traditional Cyprus villages. Our journey will start with Lefkara village, which is famous for its lace and silver making traditions. You will have a chance to stroll along the picturesque stone-paved streets and take beautiful pictures. Next stop will be at one of the most scenic places in Larnaca – a famous salt lake with a view of Hala Sultan Tekke mosque, which is considered to be fourth the most important Islamic shrine after Mekka, Medina and Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Further, our way will go through Finikoudes promenade in Larnaca and Church of Saint Lazarus, where you can touch holy relics, wash your face with holy water, as well as pray for the cure from various diseases. Our trip will be concluded with the visit of the old part of the capital of Cyprus – Nicosia, the only capital city in the world, which is divided with the ‘Green Line’.

Hala Sultan Tekke is a mosque and tekke complex on the west bank of Larnaca Salt Lake. This will be a photo stop of Salt Lake and Mosque
The Church of Saint Lazarus is a late-9th century church in Larnaca, Cyprus. It belongs to the Church of Cyprus, an autocephalous Greek Orthodox Church Free time to visit Church and city centre
Nicosia, also known as Lefkosia, is the divided capital city of Cyprus. Free time to discover old quarter Laiki geitonia , Ledra street and lunch stop

Long day 11 hours Most of the time on the bus Would like more time long way for hour stop to Lanaca by time guide did a tour round church left 30 mins to see round so was pointless The tour needs a review of the actual off bus time was 3.5 hours at 3 places

It was nice. Pick up point got changed after I booked it which I was not happy about. The coach ac wasnt strong enough so the whole day was very warm. It is a good tour. U get to see different parts of Cyprus.

Enjoyed our trip to Nicosia with guide Viola and driver George. As well as visiting the capital Nicosia we also visited Lefkara and Larnaca. Additionally we were able to make a short visit across the "green line" to see North Nicosia. During the tour Viola provided us with many interesting facts about Cyprus and the places we were visiting.

Our guide Viola was very knowledgeable and kept us well informed about the history of the island and places we were to visit. However, this is a full day trip. We were picked up at 8.10 and not dropped off until 7.35pm. You will spend many hours in a bus. We would have liked more time in both Nicosia and Larnaca to explore the city

A long day but a great experience. A mountain village showcasing traditional crafts, crossing the 'Green Line' into the Turkish Cypriot part of Nicosia, the amazing interior of a Greek Orthodox Church. Unfortunately the flamingos were on the far side of the salt lake. Our guide was very knowledgable with lots of information about where we were going as well as the history of Cyprus and the time went quickly. While it would have been nice to have had a little longer at each of the stops, I appreciate this was hard to do with the distances travelled from Pafos.

Overall good, the guide was nice and engaging and had important information making our visit a bit more inside the box. Visiting three cities on a bus and in a day is complex, but considering the limited time it was nice. Weather helped and Cyprus is a lovely island.

Our guide was brilliant. Lots of really interesting info. Our drver was wonderful. We had lots of torrential rain, thunder and lightning on the trip. Driver was very calm and coped with the absolutely atrocious whether conditions admirably Well done to both driver and guide.
