From Padua, Full Day Tour of Verona and Garda Lake

Description
We’ll discover Verona with a walk. Starting from Piazza Bra we’ll admire Area di Verona. Through Via Mazzini, well known shopping street in Verona we’ll walk to the House of Juliet. Then we continue towards Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Porta Borsari and the Arche Scaligere. We'll reach the Ponte di Pietra and, if you want, we can take the funicular and reach the San Pietro hill for a view from above of Verona. After a little lunch stop, we’ll go on to Lake Garda, where we’ll have a walk in the city centre of Lazise. The origins of the novels appear to be Lazise and A, a small village with a clear medieval imprint, characterized by walls, castle, doors and narrow streets.

Itinerary
To visit Verona it is natural to start from the central Piazza Bra, which blends buildings from different eras and architectures into the sunny and bright light that crosses it. The Arena, Palazzo Barbieri and the Gran Guardia are the most famous and admired, but not least are the Fountain of the Alps, the Liston with its noble palaces, the Visconti walls, the statue of Vittorio Emanuele II and the Pentagona Tower.
The Arena of Verona is, together with Juliet's house, the monument for which the city is famous in Italy and around the world. It is the third largest Roman amphitheater after the Colosseum and the arena of Capua. It can hold about 20,000 people, which is believed to have been the entire population of Verona in the 1st century AD, the period to which the construction of the monument dates back.
The house is a severe 13th century medieval building, whose exposed brick facade is softened by elegant trefoil windows. At the front stands the famous balcony from which according to tradition Juliet looked out to talk to her Romeo.
A monumental, majestic and scenographic tomb, which for over seven hundred years has welcomed the mortal remains of the ancient Lords of Verona. Here rest the Princes of the Della Scala family, with their elaborate equestrian sculptures that rise towards the sky as in an endless petrified tournament.
Built in the first century BC to replace a pre-existing wooden bridge, Ponte Pietra is the oldest Roman monument in Verona and perhaps also the most impressive. It connected the original route of the Via Postumia with the hill in front of a ford, used since the dawn of time.
After a short lunch break, you will head towards Lake Garda, where, taking a walk, you will admire the magical historic center of Lazise. The origins of the novels appear to be Lazise and A, a small village with a clear medieval imprint, characterized by walls, castle, doors and narrow streets.

Grazie Mille per la fiducia dimostrata per la nostra agenzia. Alla prossima avventura, vi aspettiamo.
Fantastic town hall building, with a large wooden roof, frescos, a very large horse, punishment stone and museum. There is a market in both the squares. The ground floor has many restaurants and shops.
My husband and I went on 2 tours with your company. We had Camilla as our guide and found her very professional, informative, mannerly, patient and kind. We are very grateful for having her as our guide. David and Patricia Parkinson.

We had been thinking of going to Verona on our own and were so glad we took this tour instead. Camilla was knowledgeable and helpful, adding history and color to places in Verona that we would otherwise not have noticed. And getting to walk through Sirmione on the banks of beautiful Lake Garda made it even more special. We highly recommend this tour!

My friend and I were on vacation in Abano Terme and we had an incredible opportunity to visit Verona, the city of love. Thanks to Lovivo, we have seen the most beautiful corners of Verona. We even learned some Italian words. Thank you Lovivo. Bellissimo!
On October of 2019 while staying at Hotel Royal Montegrotto, Italy, we contracted LOVIVO Tour Experience to pick us up for a tour of Verona Italy and Lake Garda, Italy; about 100 km (62 mi) trip. The tour van was modern, clean and comfortable, Jasmine, a professional driver took all the stress out to the trip. Both Jasmine and her assistant spoke multiple languages. When we reached the destination, the tour guides escorted the group of six to many shops, restaurants, unique eateries, special sights of the area and wherever the group wanted to go, et cetera. The LOVIVO tour guides were well informed and kept a watchful eye over all. LOVIVO Tour made vacationing in Italy a pivotal experience.
