We had an unforgettable trip with our tour guide Lomg. Even the drive to Da Lat was an experience along mango, coffee and flowers plantations and the view from the mountains was fantastic. On 1. Day we visited a reservoir that often serves as a backdrop for weddings, beautiful. We also took a ride on the rollercoaster and visited a waterfall there. We explored a temple with a stature of flowers and a dragon whose scale consists of thousands of beer bottles. We visited the old station from the time of the French and could admire steam locomotives and historical carriages from that time. Lomg led us to the tastiest Vietnamese pizza and showed us where the night market is. Afterwards we checked into the Da Lat Eco Hotel and strolled from there on foot into the old town and through the beautiful alleys. On Feb. Day has Lomg picked us up in the morning and we went out for a classic pasta soup together, just delicious. Afterwards we went to Linh An Pagoda and admired the Quan Am statue and the nearby waterfall. We have experienced yet another waterfall with an impressive panorama. In addition, we were taught how to make the weasel coffee, could see the weasels and enjoy the view of the plantation with a coffee. There were other highlights and delicacies that we could experience and enjoy. The trip was definitely worth it!
Long Phi was our tour guide for the 2 day day trip from Nha Trang to Da Lat return.. He was AMAZING. From the start the communication was great. We were picked up from the hotel on time and the car was spotless. His driving was spot on. At no time was I concerned but always felt safe. The amt of knowledge Long Phi has and shared with us was probably one of the best guides I have had. I can't stop saying how amazing he was. We had many stops on the way to and from Da Lat that weren't on the itinerary and were a bonus. We learnt so much over 2 days. We learnt the different types of coffee, rice wine, crickets to try ( wasn't game enough🤣🤣), how to make silk and many had other stops. We visited the countryside and walked through a small village. It was a full-on 2 days. We left at 7.30 on Day 1 and returned at 5pm on Day 2. The hotel we stayed at was clean and tidy. It was about a 15 minute walk to the night markets. Day 2 we stopped at a bakery for breakfast and a roadside food stall for lunch. Both meals were great. On day 1 we had lunch in a traditional Cafe near our hotel having chicken and rice. It was so good. Food isn't included on the tour but was very cheap to buy. We also paid extra to go on the cable car,and the roller-coaster. I would recommend both. I would recommend this trip to everyone. It was so much more than I expected. There were only 2 of us on this tour so we were in a car. Long Phi drove as well as being our guide. If you are thinking of doing this tour, do not hesitate. Please do it with Long Phi. You won't be sorry.
