The journey begins with an introduction to the ancient cultures that inhabited these lands before the arrival of Europeans, offering an in-depth look at their traditions, architecture, and worldview. Visitors will then stop in front of the Church of Santiago, a powerful symbol of cultural and historical fusion. Built in 1522 on the ruins of an ancient Aztec temple, this church represents the beginning of the colonial period. Here, travelers will learn the dramatic history of the conquest, including the Aztec Empire's last stand against the forces of Hernán Cortés. Finally, the tour connects with the emergence of independent, mestizo Mexico, explaining how national identity was forged from this complex fusion of cultures. This experience not only showcases historical monuments, but also provides an understanding of how the past has shaped modern Mexico.
Visitors will be able to appreciate both the old and new basilicas, two emblematic monuments that narrate centuries of devotion and architectural evolution in Mexico.

My visit to the Basilica and Teotihuacán was one of the most memorable parts of my trip, with each stop offering something meaningful and visually stunning. The tour guides made the experience exceptional by sharing thoughtful stories, cultural context, and insights that brought every location to life. They kept the pace comfortable and created an easy, welcoming atmosphere that made it simple to stay engaged. By the end of the day, I felt like I had gained a deeper appreciation for both the history and the people who helped shape it.
Great tour and well worth the visit. Do research before you go as some tour guides are not that informative. Be careful if walking alone in Mexico city markets. I got robbed by three police officer.

I couldn't enjoy the experience. By mistake we showed up with the ticket expired the day before and it was our last day of vacation. I asked the guides to please speak to the organization and they sent me a link for payment. Being a foreigner I was having problems with my cell phone and proposed to pay the penalty in cash and fix the problem on the bus. Eventually they told me they couldn’t that they weren’t guides and we stayed the four of us at the stop watching them go.
