Very fruitful tour with 3 cities, the guide is knowledge and share lots of information. However, 3 cities in 1 day is too rush, you don't have much time to explore the cities. Lunch experience is excellent, highly recommended. The tour is combining both English and Spanish group, sometimes you have to listen both language, this is a bit annoying.
Kahn was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and informative and funny. I learned a lot about Spanish history.
Khan was great - tour was good lots packed into the day so be prepared for lots of walking bus rides with limited free time but overall nice tour hitting the highlights of both Toledo and Segovia
Best expérience ever.Enrique the guide was so nice;helpful;professional and so funny;i enjoyed every minute of this journey.;the driver was driving safely.I recommand 100%. Sois Los mejores.
This trip was ok but it was clear that Amigo Tours (the host) was trying to squeeze every possible penny out they could get out of people rather than providing the best experience. I’ll give you some examples: rather than sending two smaller vans full of people—1 Spanish and 1 English—they shoveled a million of us into a huge bus & made one poor woman rattle off a ton of history lessons first in bc Spanish and then in English. It was overwhelming. Then, they tried to cram in 3 cities in 13 hours, which was way, way too much. You need more than 18 minutes to explore a cathedral when you pay for a ticket inside! But 18 minutes was exactly what I got. The guide said it was because I was 7 minutes late from lunch but I was the only English-speaker who bought the Amigo Tours lunch—I had no say over how fast it was brought out! When you pay for something like this, you expect the tour company to pace it correctly…2 cities in 13 hours would have made much more sense. As it is, I felt like I was RACING everywhere. The tour guide would literally stop the van and say, “you have 2 minutes to take pictures!” Please note, I find no fault with the tour guides—these poor people were just doing what Amigo Tours told them to! But it was way, way too fast. I’ve taken a ton of tours and this was not good. More examples— Amigo offered us bottles of water after we’d been out in the blazing sun—but unlike the other tours I booked, Amigo made us actually PAY for a small bottle of water! Finally- this is something that might not bother anyone else, but it bothered me…They asked if I was vegetarian on the form. I said no, I’d been eating fish and chicken all through Spain. But—unless I missed it somewhere, which is possible—they neglected to explain that the “lunch option” would include watching a baby pig get its skull smashed in with a plate and then carved up to show how tenderized the roasting had been. It was too much. I’m a vegetarian now.
Unethical. Two different directions for meeting spot. At the designated spot by Viator 15 minutes early. Later saw they moved it 20 minutes before it left. Refused to refund.
JC was a great guide, very knowledgeable. This tour is a must when you’re in Spain!
The trip and guide were amazing. The aircon in the bus was not working, and we all felt nauseous after the 2 hour drive. The pickup point was hidden from view due to construction, it would be great if a guide looked for the clients at the plaza de torres main monument. There were many clients standing at the monument, not knowing exactly where to go.
Great day trips. Gabriella was very pleasant and informative.
Friends Tours was our reservation, and Javi (with the beard and blue eyes) was our guide, very well explained with many interesting and historical facts. He made the time pass very pleasantly. We had a small group (13) people, which made it feel more comfortable. The only thing I would change is that when they provide information about where the meeting point is, they should be clearer; for example, the metro where the bullring is located. Kudos to Javi!! For being an excellent guide!!!!
