We did the day tour of Addis as we stopped over for 2 days to break our journey. Our guide Kenaw was excellent and informative. We will come back for one of the longer tours on our next layover.
Scam! Do Not book with this charlatan! This “tour” guide will take your money and that's the last you hear from him. It’s not everyday you get the opportunity to spend a few hours visiting the sights of Addis Ababa and with a 9 hour layover I decided to book a layover tour with plenty of time to visit the museums, see Lucy, the market, local viewpoints etc… Anyhow, I needed to know whereabouts in the airport I would be picked up and that’s when my troubles began. No answer at all to my emails, I left voice messages, a lady from viator tried to contact him and she couldn’t get in touch with him. My tour time came and went with no sign and I was then forced to book another tour, at extra expense. By the time this new tour commenced all the museums etc.. were shut! Understandably I’m not happy as the costs of this have mounted up, let alone the wasted time making calls to viator etc… hopefully, I’ll get some of it back but I’m not holding my breath on that one. Come on viator, properly vet these pretend operators so they can’t scam tourists as I missed out on quite a lot.

I did the cooking class where I went to a local home and learned how to make Injera. It was a wonderful insight into the life and culture. The guide Lamesegn was awesome. Highly recommend
Hi Richard. We are delighted that you choose us. Thank you for your review!
Abraham was amazing! So amazing that we did two trips with him. The first experience was going into a home and learning how to make injera and shiro. This was a wonderfully authentic experience. After that, we walked through a market and learned about all of the different spices and other things. Because we enjoyed ourselves so much, we asked him on a different day to take us on a coffee tour. So, we went into another home and learned how to wash the beans, roast them, grind them by hand, make the coffee, and make the popcorn. I would highly recommend any trip with Abraham!!!
we are proudly to give this amazing experience. thank you for choosing Vowland Ethiopia Tour.
Many thanks to Abraham and Vowland Tour! We asked Abraham to accompany us for a short city tour of Adds Ababa and he immediately replied. After few hours we took off to discover the main attractions of Addis, including the National Museum and Mount Entoto. I really appreciated Abraham's knowledge, professionalism, kindness, and help, especially when I needed it due to a small accident that happened to me during the tour. He made sure that first and foremost I was okay, taking great care of me. I would certainly recommend his services for any tour in Ethiopia.
we are proudly to give this amazing experience. thank you for choosing Vowland Ethiopia Tour.
