We so enjoyed our tours with Amazing Huatulco, which included Monté Alban plus weaving studios and a community festival in Teotitlán del Valle. These experiences were highlights of our 9 days in Oaxaca. We were guided by Tomas, who was fluent in English, friendly, generous and very knowledgeable about history and tradition. We genuinely enjoyed his company! We will absolutely recommend Amazing Huatulco to family and friends. Muchas gracias, Tomas!
Wonderful guides fluent in English. We were impressed with the depth of knowledge each of our guides had on the history, religion, politics, art forms, economy and geography. We came with a list of must-see places over five days. Both Thomas and Claudio were personable and were definitely the best part of our trip to Oaxaca.
We hired Thomas for a private tour of the Monté Alban ruins in Oaxaca. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but he was engaging, kind and so hospitable. Tomas shared not only general knowledge but his own personal history and ancestry. This tour was spectacular. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Tomas extended our tour to visit a Master Weaver from his home town. We watched and learned as this master weaver showed us how he cleans the wool, prepares it for tapestry and how completely based on elements of the environment he creates colours to dye the wool!!! Completely and utterly fascinating. Tomas is fantastic and I highly recommend booking a tour with him. You don’t wanna miss this!!!
