Did the tour in July with Toni and Nellie. Pick up point was easy to find. I was in the bus with Toni, he really did his best to find moose for us and cooked a delicious local dinner! Licorice was also great!! The two guides do the same route but we ate at different spots, they keep in touch all the way through to make sure that people see the most moose possible. It was a fun night, also comfortable mini bus. Thanks again!!
Campfire food was only ok. Finding moose is a challenge. Some were located really late in the evening and at a significant distance they were hard to spot. Just have reasonable expectations about seeing them.
Really a highlight of a Helsinki, Finland experience as not able to travel the many areas of Finland.
Naumai was an excellent guide, she engaged all participants to ensure we had a very enjoyable experience.
A wonderful experience! Our guide was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The campfire dinner was delicious and it was great to see some of the Finnish landscape. We also saw some moose.
The Tour was great! Peter and Jack told us so many interesting things about finnish wildlife and nature. We went in the forest, picked wild blue berries and had traditional finnish campfire food. Later we went go several spots known for wildlife activity. We saw several moose, male, female and calf. We were instructed on how to behave and how to not disturb or scare the animals. Everything was very respectful! I had a Great time!
I'm glad Tony, my guide, was so kind. It was always fun to be constantly taught about Finnish food culture and trivia about nature and wildlife!
We spent an amazing evening watching moose and even had the pleasure of seeing a lynx! Our guide, Toni, was fantastic, he happily answered all of our questions. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
It was a successful excursion with our tour guide Toni, who is a communicative and attentive guide. The food by the campfire was delicious and the moose safari was fun. Besides moose with their babies, we even saw a lynx. Highly recommended :)
It was a great tour. We were able to observe many white-tailed deer. And then suddenly there it stood - a beautiful moose. About 10 meters away from the car. A great experience. We were then able to admire several more moose. A really great tour with a very nice tour guide.
