1. Got picked up and dropped off inside Hanoi Old Quarter by shuttle bus (Except some banning street) 2. English speaking guide will escort you during the trip. 3. You will visit Hoa Lu ancient citadel dating back to 1,000 years 4. Enjoying a nice boat trip in Tam Coc or Trang An on river with spectacular limestone mountains (if option selected) 5. Trekking up to Hang Mua (Dragon mountain) where you can see the whole Tam Coc valley with rice field and river (if option selected) 6. Enjoying a buffet lunch with a lot of options of local food 7. Itinerary
From 7:00 - 7:45 am: You are picked up at hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter (please be ready during this time, the bus needs to go from this hotel to another so time should be flexible). Depart for Ninh Binh with 3 hours on highway with 1-2 comfort break
Visit Hoa Lu Ancient citadel in 11th Century ( The first capital of Viet Nam) with King Dinh Temple and ruins from the Citadel
Explore Trang An Or Tam Coc (if option selected) with 2 hours boating trip rowed by a local - a World's heritage site. Through water caves and historic sites along river bank.
Optional Cycling Activity 15-25 minutes around the village to exploring local life of people in the country side of Ninh Binh province
The final activity is explore Mua cave, little water fall, trek up to Ngoa Long mountain with 500 steps to have a million US Dollar view down Tam Coc valley (if your option not included Mua Cave ticket, you can inform and pay directly with the tour guide on the trip or you can stay outside enjoy coffee and wait for the group doing the mountain)
Finish Mua Cave mountain, departing on the bus back to Hanoi 3 hours via Highway 19:00- 19:30: Drop off at your hotel / meeting point

Phuong was a really good tour guide!
Better in person! Great tour!✨ We booked the full Hoa Lư, Tam Cốc, and Múa Cave day tour with buffet lunch and round-trip transfers from our Hanoi BnB, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The one-hour Tam Cốc boat ride was the standout experience. The views were absolutely stunning and somehow even more beautiful in person than in all the photos and travel ads we’d seen beforehand. Big thanks to our talented guide, Phuong, whose knowledge, stories, and sense of humor kept the day fun and engaging from start to finish. Everything was smooth and well-organized, from pickup to drop-off. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ninh Bình.

I’ve had such an amazing experience with this trip. Every tourist spot we went to is breathtaking. Our tour guide, Phuong, was very amazing, hands-on, and informative. Phuong was a great guide. He had lots of local knowledge and was very entertaining. Pick up/drop off process was easy and communication with the tour group before the date was good. Activites were well spaced and had enough time at each spot. One thing to note is that the lunch isn’t anything too amazing. Just a standard buffet with lots of variety to cater to a lot of people.
Contact carefully before the trip, carefully take care of each person throughout the day trip, enthusiastic explanation. The entire journey time is very accurate, so that we can play peace of mind and relax.
