Visit Assisi, a UNESCO World Heritage site and discover its rich history which dates back to the Roman age; learn about its most illustrious citizen, Saint Francis, during a 1,5-hour walking tour. Enjoy a typical Umbrian lunch with wine served in a beautiful location in Assisi. The next will be Orvieto, where you will have time to enjoy the visit to the ancient Roman walls, the well, the historic city centre or just enjoy a glass of wine in front of the amazing Duomo. Also significant to the Roman era are the Arch of Drusus, the Roman House and the Roman Theatre.

08:00am: You'll meet our english speaking guide and you'll depart for about 2,5h drive to Assisi in a luxury car or premium van
10:30am A holy city for Christians, Assisi is an eternal destination for pilgrims wanting to the see the places where Saint Francis was born, where he worked, and where he died. At the end of the guided tour you'll have some free time to enjoy the city In this small center – propped up on the slopes of Mount Subasio – everything in sight seems to refer to the Saint, even if it is only remotely relevant to his life. Together with almost all its surrounding territory, Assisi was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 2000. UNESCO describes Assisi as constituting a unique example of continuous history, as a city-sanctuary, from its Umbrian-Roman origins, through the Middle Ages and up to today.
12:00pm: lunch with typical product and local wine
3:00pm: Founded in 1290 and probably designed by Arnolfo Di Cambio, it is one of the most famous monuments of the Romanesque-Gothic Europe, offering a comprehensive overview of Italian art. Both outside and inside this church, you can track interventions and works by Lorenzo Maitani, Andrea Pisano, Luca Signorelli, Beato Angelico and Benozzo Gozzoli. Enjoy your free time as you like, visiting the churches, the famous well, wonder around or just have a seat and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the amazing Duomo.

Michele Amenta, (Mike) our drive was wonderful. He picked us up exactly on time and along our route explained a great deal about local history, regional wines and Italian culture. Our guide in Assisi, Andre was extremely knowledgeable about the town, the art and the influences of Saint Francis on the Catholic Church and Italian life. Our lunch at Pallotta was exceptional. Orvieto was charming and not to be missed. We highly recommend this fabulous tour and we suggest coming in February when there are no crowds.

Great experience! Our driver was on time and pick us up at our hotel. Drive was long but very relaxing and funny thanks to our driver. The guide in Assisi was very interesting! Lunch in a typical local restaurant and the free time in Orvieto was just convenient and relaxing for us. Thank you!
