10:00AM: Here you'll learn about the Prosciutto crudo di Parma. The prosciutto di Parma is famous all over the world and stands out not only for its nutritional peculiarities (the only ingredients are pork and salt, without additives or preservatives) but also for the "crown", the brand that is branded only on the original. Only thighs of great weight are used. It is also called sweet ham as a low amount of salt is added during processing. The salting is accompanied by a short period of rest in cold rooms and followed by the sprinkling of a valuable fat, which takes the name of sugna, obtained from the pig.

12:45PM: At the local Parmigiano Reggiano tour of 1,5h. In a local dairy you will learn all the secrets about the production of Parmesan and at the end you will be able to taste the differences between the 12, 24 and 36 month Parmesan with the tasting. You will have a light lunch plus the Parmigiano Reggiano tour. You will taste a wide range of products: raw and cooked hams, such as breech, salami, cooked ham, and truffle ham.

Absolutely wonderful guide (Lucca) and tour!

This was a wonderful tour with a great guide. Interest and informative. We enjoyed spending time in the countryside. If we could, we would give it more stars!

Perfect food tour from Florence

We had a wonderful day with our excellent driver Mike. We had the best prosciutto, ate a delicious lunch featuring Parmigaino Reggiano and ended the tour in Modena for aceto balsamico. Would definitely recommend to all foodies!

An excellent culinary tour worth every penny!

This all day tour gives guests a chance to experience the creation of three of Parma’s most famous commodities: prosciutto, parmesano reggiano, and black gold or Balsamic Vinegar. The tour is comfortable, with minimal walking. The tours at each location are interesting and steeped in the history of each item. We were fortunate to have Sal as your driver. He was wonderful, explaining points as we drove from Florence to different destinations. He introduced us to a wonderful coffee shop and took care of us every step of the way. I would highly recommend this tour!
