At a time that suits you, our driver will pick you up from your chosen location in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, or any airport/railway station. You'll then embark on a smooth and scenic journey to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, renowned as the safest and fastest route. The drive typically takes around 3.5 hours. Along the way, you can also enjoy a selection of delicious snacks to make your trip even more enjoyable.
Upon reaching Agra, you'll meet your knowledgeable guide who will provide you with tickets to enter the stunning Taj Mahal. With these pre-arranged tickets, you'll skip the lines and head straight inside. The Taj Mahal, an iconic symbol of love, was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the history and significance of this architectural marvel. They'll also be happy to assist you in capturing beautiful photos at the best spots within the Taj Mahal.
Seeing the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort makes your eyes happy. Now it's time for your taste buds to be happy too. You'll have lunch at a really nice place called DoubleTree by Hilton, which is a 5-star hotel. They have a big spread of food for you to enjoy, and you can eat as much as you want. You'll have about 1 hour to relax and eat there.
After exploring the Taj Mahal, your guide will accompany you to the impressive Agra Fort. Just like with the Taj Mahal, you won't have to wait in line to buy tickets, as your guide will provide them for you. Agra Fort is a grand structure made of red sandstone, built by the renowned Mughal emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Recognized by UNESCO for its historical significance, this fort is home to several magnificent buildings, including the Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, and the Pearl Mosque. These landmarks offer unique views of the Taj Mahal, providing a different perspective of this majestic monument. You'll have about an hour to explore and soak in the beauty and history of Agra Fort.
After you finish eating lunch, your guide will take you to the Tomb of Itimād-ud-Daulah. They will show you around this special place for about 1 hour. It's sometimes called the Jewel Box' and also known as the Baby Taj. This building is like a smaller version of the Taj Mahal and was built before it kind of like a rough draft.
Now it's time to end your trip in Agra. You can say goodbye to your guide and begin your journey back to Delhi. When you reach Delhi, your driver will take you wherever you want to go. They can drop you off at your hotel in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, or Faridabad. And if you need to go to the airport or railway station, they can take you there too, if you'd like.
